I know this about Sessions because he was under my radar too.. I wanted to pick him at some point too (before he was traded to the Lakers), but I saw Nanderson already picked him up.. Then I followed him waiting for Nanderson to drop him, but he didn't, until he was traded by the Lakers and I was like "Oh great, there is no chance now he'll drop him, so better look somewhere else."

I ended up with Dragic, who was doing fine, ..., until your Lowry came back.. :(

And I agree, it's a lot of fun trying to pick and drop players every week (the number of times I did it shows that pretty clearly!)..
 
Well, I can certainly believe I thought a player was available who wasn't, I thought Eric Gordon was available for a minute.

I was tracking Sessions too, I almost grabbed him at some point earlier myself, when he was starting when Irving was injured I'd guess.

Lots of players are popping up on the radar at the end of the season as players go down to injury or teams out of the playoffs experiment a bit. In the middle of the season it was very hard to find decent contributors.
 
I still can't believe I beat Nanderson. I have barely been active this past month. All I did was set my lineups every Sunday. I wasn't researching anything. That cost me a couple of places. But Danny it should be an easy win for you this week because my team sucks at the moment.

Not sure about this tbh.. In the playoffs anything can happen, Wade and Bargnani are both injured at the moment for me, and a couple more players are going back to the bench..

But your matchups (both of them) were very enjoyable to watch indeed. Well done for beating Nanderson as well, I expected him to win to be honest..

That Pau Gasol trade was huge, the best part was that in giving up two players for 1 you got to add another player! That's a part of it I didn't think of myself at first, and why I canceled my Blake Griffin trade, you have to consider the stats of the player you add as part of the trade, to see how it changes each team.

And Deron Williams is piling up stats as well as anyone. Adding Dragic just was unfair, I hope Lowry pushes him back to the bench! Though to hear the coach it sounds like that won't be the case.

Trading Johnson and Young for Gasol was because I decided to change my plan a bit.. I decided at the time that Young won't fit in my plans, so wanted to trade him, and Johnson is a very good player, but when Gasol was on offer, I thought Gasol would help me more than Johnson..

I still look back and think that trade was fair (value-wise).. Johnson has been great this season..

The Griffin trade, I think that was a bad trade for me to be honest.. I'm glad it didn't happen now (may be).. Not really sure what you think of it now..

I need Dragic to keep getting minutes, or I'll need to change my plan again..

I think you have a great chance in this one RDC.. My guys aren't doing exceptionally well at the moment, and your guys are racking up the numbers..

gooDevil, what a close match-up you're having as well!

As I said before, there are no easy match-ups in the playoffs.. All teams are very good teams, and in one week anything can happen..
 
Dwight Howard has been out all week, they said he'd be back for his last two games, but he's be announced out again. He's going to a specialist so who knows. With Griffin being cold lately, last game aside, Howard has been my only elite player, so if I make it through it will also be a minor miracle.

I can't even drop him because I'm out of 'moves'.
 
Losing Howard is a big blow. His stats have been unreal this season.. Back problems are the worst. Hope it's not something serious..

By the way, :lol: @ "I'm out of moves".. Been there myself a couple of times during the season..

I have to say though gooDevil, you really have been the master of "moves" all season long.. Considering how much you have left of the original draft, and how far you've come, I got to hand it to you.. Very well played.
 
Thanks, looking for new players was my favorite part of the game.

It looks like Howard will be out for the next 10 days at least, hernia in the back. That's probably the end of my threat to win it all.
 
So I guess the top two seeds made it anyway to the finals. GD and I will battle for the 3rd spot.

The only man who beat me in the regular season... Obviously it will be a very tough match-up for me.. Don't really think I can beat you tbh..

But I think it's a fitting final.. 10 days.. Anything can happen..

Well, DE has two injured players on his roster for some reason, I think Danny will take this one again.

Though Danny has kept injured Deron Williams, so maybe it will be close.
 
How is our battle going GD? I gave up because I was too lazy to set my lineup after not reaching the final.
 
The exact thing I was afraid of happened..

The heat will give up on their battle for first seed and rest their players for the final run-in..

Of course that's a big blow for me..
 
Yep, it's a bit crazy to have the playoffs now with so many teams shutting down players for the season or for the playoffs. So many bench players are in for bad teams, it's madness, and a lot of stars are out injured or being rested.

This has to be your worst week in a long time, can't believe how few points you have.
 
Nah, won't feel bad.. It was a great tournament, and a lot of fun..

DE has a very good team, and if he wins it (which looks likely) then he fully deserves it..

All teams have gone through injuries and absences, so I've nothing to complain about really..

It could go either way at the death. A draw would be appropriate!

4 days to go. Its pretty much neck and neck in most categories. Danny deserves the manager of the year award for the way he blitzed through the regular season but I'd be happy with the title of Redcafe 2012 Fantasy Basketball Champion .
