He's good, but he's no Steve Francis.

At least you didn't compare him to George Mhuresan.
In December he's averaging 17.5pts, 11.7rebs and 3 blocks. Niiiiiiice. Probably the second best centre in the NBA behind Shaq.
BTW which team did you play for?

Which team?
Firstly I played from the Braves, they then got merged with another team, the Dons, to form the Devils.
Ankles fecked me up for months though and I was never the same really, never got it properly sorted out...

I don't know who the Braves, Dons and Devils are. I only know the "big" British teams like Sheffield, Chester, London etc.
I used to play at school until I stopped growing at about 15. Couldn't change me game to a more perimeter player so gave up.

I played at national league level mate, 2 divisions below them. Decent standard, some teams in those leagues should have been pro.
More about the cash needed to fund the club more than the teams themselves...

Do you still play at all? Or only on playstation?

Haven't played for a while now, the teams I played for couldn't afford to continue really, and I don't think I have the heart to keep on playing now, I used to love it though and had some really good times, but it took up 75% of my week back then and I wouldn't be able to dedicate that amount of time to it I doubt.
Could play for a county team again, but the standard just isn't there now and its not the same when you have played at a higher level...

talking of playstation games is NBA live 2003 any good?
i got 2001 and it was ok but not the best

The best basketball game on the market is the NBA 2K series. I think NBA 2K3 is out for ps2 in January, much much better than Live Ruddy.

Who have you got? Surely it can't be as bad as the road trip through the Texas Triangle?
We've got a few home games over the holidays, starting tonight with the Utah Jizz. Hate them too!

That is a pretty hard schedule actually. Utah have pivked their form up lately. Phoenix, Clippers and even GS have enough talent to beat any team on their day. I would like to see you beat Dallas though.

with the rest we have got id say 3 out of those 5 are gonna be wins

Knicks won? Wooohoooo ...
The Knicks winning 3 games in a row can be considered a three-peat, eh?

I'd blocked that putrid result out of me memory until I looked into this thread.
