You are not wrong, it's much closer. The NCAA 3-pointer is even closer than the international line.

Mid-major players are hard to figure. Detroit's league was just OK, a couple of notches below the major conferences. Creighton's (Missouri Valley Conference) wasn't even that good, so Korver built those stats against weaker competition.
I don't remember seeing Green, but all those Detroit guys are very athletic and solid defensively. Interesting pick - he could be a sleeper. He improved every year in college.
I saw Korver a couple of times. He's a great shooter, but my guess is that he's probably too slow for the NBA.

My stomach churns thinking about Randy Ayers as the next coach of the 76ers. When I lived in Columbus, I watched him dismantle and ruin a solid Ohio State program. The question that puzzles me is, if a guy fails as a college coach, how can he possibly succeed as a pro coach?
Keith Schleicher
Richmond, Va.
*** Keith: Well, let's give Randy a chance before your stomach churns too much. He bombed as a college coach, true, but he was a very good NBA assistant for Larry Brown.
Still, let's not kid ourselves, either. There is no doubt as to why the Sixers were having a hard time finding a guy willing to coach this team -- because too many candidates had heard too many bad things about Allen Iverson. Those things may have come mostly from Brown, but that does not matter. Fact is, Iverson's reputation scared off candidates.
Ayers is a guy who is familiar with Iverson, and vice versa, so he makes sense for the job. Unfortunately for him, he is walking into a bad situation, because the roster is aging and probably peaked under Brown. So, Ayers will be the guy who has to avoid what seems like an inevitable letdown</strong><hr></blockquote>
most of which is true
although the job was only offered to
1 Mo
2 randy
the jailblazers wouldnt let mo go so it went to ayers,he has all the knowledge of the situation in philly.
AI gets along with him and ayers knows how to deal with Iverson, which is the main thing you need to achive in philly
after all the years hes been with larry i see him having no problems steping up
say cheesy poofs

Thomas is good, but is somewhat of a head case with technical fouls and all. Ward would be OK for you guys as a backup. I'm not much of a VH fan, but I would be OK with the trade. All of the Knick draft picks are playing horrible in the summer league. Looks like another long year.

That's because THUGS like to watch other THUGS play games...BTW, dickhead, I never said anything about the 76ers not selling out...with the me first attitudes, the chest pounding, and the posses, fans are turning off the NBA these days...btw, here is a link...Philly sold out 25 of 41 home games...does not say road sellouts, which I presume would be higher...so next time, before getting mad because I dissed your player, back your SHIT up with stats...

have a little read of your article, you basically prove my point with regards Allen Iverson
thanks for that
The defending Eastern Conference champions were equally as big of a draw on the road. With MVP-candidate Allen Iverson, arguably the NBA’s most exciting player, the Sixers drew an average 18,720 fans per game to opponent’s arenas, good for third in the NBA behind the defending World Champion Lakers (20,103) and the Washington Wizards (19,939).
