I guess things do even themselves out in the end because teh Mavs would never have got past the Kings if Webber hadn't got injured.

This is probably true Sid I'm sorry to say. If they can win tonight I reckon they're still in it, if not I think they won't win another game.

Sports Final said that LB made the decision this past week.

Eskin said Snider and King will not talk LB out of it, unlike previous years. The Sixers will also allow LB to coach anywhere he wants next season without compensation.

all yours sid but lebron says larry is front runner to coach him at the cavs

Zo Mourning is said to be intrested in coming to the sixers and silas is #1 target for philly

Ginobili is a super player. So much wisdom there, he just seems to constantly make great decisions all the time.

today?

thought it was on tuesday

The 76ers have announced a press conference today (May 26) at 4 p.m. Check back to Sixers.com for quotes and an audio rebroadcast immediately following

take van horn and his contract with you

Welcome to Houston, Mr. Brown.

PS leave Van Horn back in Philly.

A real coaching merry-go-round this summer.

Very impressive comeback by Dallas. Nash, Finley, and Van Exel played inspired. If they can pull out a win in Dallas and get Nowitzki back for game 7 then watch out.

I don't think it was so much of a comeback by Dallas as complete collapse by the Spurs - again. Check out how many BIG leads they have surrendered this possteason. They regularly get up 15-25 points in games and are either hanging on for the victory or end up losing. Finley has come alive for Dallas.

The Spurs do choke alot, but Dallas accelerated the process with their clutch shooting in the 4th.

did they keep doing that dumb fouling a poor free throw shooter from like early in the third like in the last game?

I think this might be a stumbling block. I don't think Houston will completely hand over the reigns to one man like that. Our GM usually does pretty good deals.

TOP 3 NBA Picks (IMO):

1. LeBron James, Cleveland
2. Darko Milicic, Detroit
3. Carmelo Anthony, Denver

I think James will become a great player, but Milicic will become the best European player to play in the NBA. Anthony should become a solid player too, but as always, one of the top 3 picks is doomed to become a bust. What do you think?

So two days after the Spurs throw the game away in the 4th, Dallas throw the series away in the 4th.

Outscored 34 - 9 in the forth.

Kinell.

Yeah I got up to watch the last half - painful. We were coasting it in the third then it all just fell apart, thanks to a totally inability to hit any FGs and the efforts of 37 yr old Kerr who hit 3 3pointers in succession to turn a defecit into a lead.

Read somewhere that this LeBron James already has a one million dollar contract with Nike. Bound to be pretty special.

Billy King, the new president of the 76ers, was out of the office yesterday, and several NBA sources said he spent the day with Kentucky coach Tubby Smith.

The sources said King was trying to convince him to take the Sixers' head coaching job a day after Smith referred to that job as a "headache."

After hours of negotiating, it appeared that a deal to make Smith the next Sixers coach was close to getting done.

 imagine if we get him

excited

Funnny how the NCAA is becomming increasingly irrelevant with all the HS and Euro stars hitting the NBA.

Re Cleveland: The have to take Lebron since he's the best long term prospect by a country mile. It might take 3-4 years before he becomes an superstar like KG and Kobe.

Detroit look look to be the winners in this draft. Playoff team with 2nd lottery pick to get Euro superstar. It might push them over the top next year - similar to the Spurs with Ginobili.

Where's Ginobli from then? He's not Italian is he? Good little player him - the bastard.
