I have to say I can't see them beating the Spurs now, last night would have been huge but i'm not sure they can pull it out now.

Having said that the Sixers IF they get to the finals won't win shit either.

East coast sucks dicks.

Minny would beat the East Champs.

Its more about the depth of the squad than Kobe and Shaq though, they do need some help...

The Lakers went through all of this last year when they played the Kings. It was supposed to be the Kings year to finally beat the Lakers etc. They had their back against the wall and beat the Kings on their home court in game 7. I think the Kings were stronger than the Spurs are this year, so I can't see any reason to believe that the Lakers won't fight it out again.

Agreed about the east though. They're a bunch of fairies who couldn't win a college tournament. New Jersey are the only team I actually respect/fear in the east. The rest are a bunch of posers.

In case you handn't noticed - all NBA coaches complain when they see calls they don't agree with. Of the ones that do, I'd say that Phil among those who complains the least.

IMO Bryant is the best player in the game. Normally that title should befall Shaq, but he's had an off year with the injuries. Duncan is not far behind, followed by the likes of McGrady and Iverson. Kobe is the complete package and he's still relatively young and is more developed than (dare I say) MJ was at the same age. Kobe is no MJ (yet), but he's the closest thing we'll ever see.

Kobe IMO is struggling this year to know where his game is.

He knows he should be the main scorer and that makes him rush or take bad shots, he need to make better choices in the game.

He should know when to bring others in and at times when he gets the ball you know he isn't giving it up, thats easier to defend, or get set for the boards.

Having said that he can't be stopped one on one.

Sometimes there are mistakes that are made, but it wouldn't detract from the fact the the factual epicenter of what is going in in the heart of the US intelligence community. Naturally, not government or organization is infallible from making mistakes. Just making a broad/general statement about 'he who collects information, has the information'.
