Chicago Bulls fecked Miami Heat, the defending champions 4-0 :lol:
Mavs are trailing 2-1 to Golden State, I'm currently listening to the 4th game and GSW was giving it all they got.
It'll be funny as feck if both last year finalist are beaten in the first round :D

what a game by Baron Davis, got 33 points this time.

Mavs fall short in the final seconds, even though Dirk shot 2 threes with 5 seconds to go.

I knew the warriors would win that game.

The Mavs lost all 3 games against the warriors during the regular season. Their style of play doesn´t fit them.

And I´m so glad Miami are out, they never deserved to win the title last year.

The Cavs will not get past Detroit. Put Prince on LB and that should reduce his numbers significantly. Also with C-Webb proving he has still got it and Sheed,Rip and Chauncey stepping it up it will be a huge suprise to me if Detroit don't make the finals. The only team that i had thought could stop them was the Bulls but they need to have a great shooting night to stand any chance and with the perimeter defence of the Pistons they aren't going to get 4.
 
Anybody else suprised at how easily detroit is winning?They look like the side that swept the lakers again. C-Webb has really made a difference, they are hardly missing Big Ben.

I predicted a sweep by Detroit against Chicago, so I´m not suprised at all.

I believe Cleveland will go through against the Nets, and they´ll win a maximum of 2 games against Detroit.
 
Bulls have made it a series now though. If they win the next one, you'll see the Pistons really sweating. Looks like they're building up momentum.

I like the Suns but it'll be tough with Stoudemire and Diaw suspended.
 
What a joke of a decision by Stern. Ruined a potentially great series. Cleveland should finish off the Nets tonight
 
It's more Stu Jackson's doing but clearly a piss poor decision. Object of the rule is to prevent altercation, which did not happen. Even worse is where Diaw just took a few steps forward then went back to the bench..
 
The bulls just got knocked out by the Pistons whomust be favorites to make it out of the Eastern conference now. Cleveland and SA could finish their respective series tonight as well.
Looks like my SA Detroit prediction will come true. I wonder if I should put some money on it.
 
Pistons VS Cavaliers in the East.
San Antonio VS Utah in the West.

Clear favorites in both the matchups.

Detroit were down by 12 at half time but have now taken the lead near the end of the third quarter.
 
And SA started quite well too. I still think SA will win the series but with Utah being so dominant at home we could be in for a game 7.
 
Spurs took Game 4. That probably spells the end for the Jazz. I can't really see anyone beating San Antonio. Just too much experience. IMO I think they've got a shot at multiple titles in the next few years before some of their key players (Duncan, Ginobili, Bowen) get older. They're boring but oh so effective.

PS - While we're talking about basketball, how about the lottery last week?
As a Celtics fan, all I can say is: 'oh, the humanity.'

James, criticized for his fourth-quarter failures in Games 1 and 2 at Detroit, had a virtuoso-like performance in the final 12 minutes. He went 4-of-6 from the field, 5-of-5 from the line and added four rebounds and three assists.

"I told my teammates, 'Get me to the fourth and it's close, and I'll try my best to win,'' James said. He made good on his word.
