NBA 2024-2025

Nuggets are in such a shit situation, losing vs Clippers and having shit playoffs would finally break those fake max contract mfs but if they have decent playoffs, deluded morons would make themself believe into running it back.

I don't know. I have a good feeling, really good feeling. Something feels different. I like how David Adelman talks thus far. It looks young coaches are better than the old coaches these days. Seems Malone took the joy out of the team and overall vibes were trash. Atmosphere matters a lot and that is improving greatly. Booth/Malone friction was very heavy.

Always feels kind of weird that the #1 seed doesn’t know its opponent until one day before their Game 1. Thunder will make easy work of the Grizzlies but still feels like a disadvantage for winning your conference.

Hope Jokic destroys the Clippers tonight with an all-timer, but the series in general might be very close.

Kawhi will have an all-time series to knock the nugs out….then immediately get injured for the next round

I'm rooting for the Clippers to win the whole thing

Nugs defence looks fecking woeful. They’re gonna get run over at this rate

Kuzma with 0 points, 0 assists and 0 rebounds in 22 minutes is impressive

You are not going to win with MPJ and Murray playing like this. They are not magically become the players they should be. Jokic far from perfect tonight, but he needs to be perfect and play 45 minutes for Denver to have a chance. So frustrating. Every time there was a chance to tie/get a lead, easy miss from Jokic/Murray/Braun... and then Clips hit a 3.

... And Westbrook continues to be an idiot.

Playoff basketball is about 1000 times more interesting than the no defense stat padding regular season.

That was the classic Westbrook experience there, good and bad, an idiot but also very likeable.

Westbrook is a complete moron

Moron also had key plays to keep Denver in the tie and also ultimately win it.

What a rollercoaster performance though, key offensive rebound followed by unnecessary drive and ultimately missing the shot  Can't count the number of times I was thinking to just hold the ball after getting the rebound.

Gordon saved his ass as well with that rebound and foul after Westbrook tried to drive with 11 seconds left and Denver up 2 already  I don't like to abuse professional players but that was one of the dumbest plays I've seen, even as someone nowhere near a professional it was obvious to just hold the ball until the 24 is about to run out and then chuck a shot so that time runs out.

Well - Clippers controlled most of the game and Nuggets still won. I think Denver was terrible for most of the game and still hung in. This season is on shoulders of Jamal Murray. If he can be a decent performed, Nuggets might go far. It looks like he will not. He has flashes of brilliance and prolonged moments of mediocrity.

Sad for my boy Bogdanovic. In Denver he would be a key player of the bench and used appropriately.

Russ is, just so eminently watchable. He can't shoot or make layups on a consistent basis, yet he keeps trying to shoot and make layups.

At times, it almost feels like rubbernecking watching him play.

So far 2 of first 3 playoff games have been fantastic games.

Say what you will about Russ tonight and there are plenty of things you can say but guy had many winning plays, pure effort and heart and all of that for 3,5 mil. then you switch to two fecks that earn 80mil combined, specially MPJ...i mean even Jokic was like

I've ragged on Russ numerous times over the years, but one thing you can never accuse him of is not giving 100% effort.

MPJ has such losers of a family. Dad, brothers (one in prison for killing a woman while drunk driving, another banned from NBA for gambling, even the youngest one got into some minor legal issues)... All suck. Hopefully his sisters are cool. One of his sisters was on his podcast and sounded like well-rounded lady. Gordon's brother got killed in a motor vehicle accident last year. Jokic's oldest brother is a nutcase - got arrested for beating up a fan and beating up his wife.

Considering all of that, I guess Denver is doing ok.

The great thing about T-Wolves vs Lakers series is that one team will not advance. Hopefully T-Wolves win. I don't really dislike them, just salty they knocked the Nuggets last year.

Yea i mean, thats Russ package, downgrading everything through contracts might be wrong but thats today`s NBA< you have one no value mid/high contract out there and your roster is semi cooked already. Russ in LA on max doing that shit is different than being a bench player in Denver on vet min.

Guy goes full speed, good or bad and tbf his conditioning putting to shame someone like Murray who is 10 years younger

You know whats funny about Lakers vs Wolves, Ant gives zero feck of reality, he will say some crazy shit to Luka regardless of whats happening out there. Also, why is Rendall forcing shit like that

Cant wait to see how Nick Wright will spin this into some positive gotcha mind twist thing on Monday.

You gotta love Nick. If he likes you, you can do no wrong.

As to the Lakers. It's only one game, but that was one hell of a butt kicking.

True, he is on heaven since Luka trade, LA and LeBron fanatic and then Nico decided to add his "adopted" son Luka, i mean its a dream

I'm not sure he's a Lakers fan per se. I think he was a Cavs fan, then a Heat fan, then a Cavs fan again and now he's a Lakers fan.

There is a connection there if anybody wants to look for it

Yea you might right, i thought due him living in LA but that connection you mentioned sounds more logical.
