True. But it's such a small sport here that its kinda meh. Like MLS is way down in quality compared to the NBA, NHL, MLB and NFL being all the peak divisions of each of those sports.

Windsor getting pretty hyped up too, great night out. Get the feck in. Such an intense game the whole way, credit for Golden State for how they kept managing to stay in the series and keep it so close despite the injury problems.

They had their best player injured, and their third best player missed one game plus got injured today while they were winning. A fully fit Dubs is still the best team in the league.
Assuming that KD stays and recovers near to his best, they are still the team to be beat.
I cannot put to words how I feel. After a horrendous year in football - we finally got a break. Go Raps. They really came up big. I love KL as a player and person.

I was talking about for next season. KD is out for the year so the are not the clear best team anymore for next season and are beatable. Also rumors Klay tore his ACL (I really hope not).
KD should be ready for playoffs. Same for Klay. Even without them they should be able to reach playoffs comfortably.
Next season is gonna be interesting though (this one was too). If Lakers get AD, they are gonna be strong. If Raptors keep Kawhi they are gonna be strong. Buks are gonna be strong, as will be Dubs. Rockets probably will be good too.
I am so excited to see what the offseason brings and to see what the teams look like come the start of the regular season.
Kawhi is the kinda superstar kids should look up to and emulate in terms of being quiet and just focused on basketball first and foremost. Imagine being his biggest hater right now (Skip Bayless).

I am thinking he should be fine. He doesn't rely on athleticism too much(though he does do a lot of work off-ball) and ACL recoveries have been pretty good recently(bar Rose with the Bulls - it still hurts as a Bulls fan to this day).

Warriors without KD and Klay in regular season might not even have homecourt in the first round though.
I think they make the playoffs but get eliminated first round.

In the east the Bucks will only get better as will the Sixers and Celtics will always be solid. If Raptors dont keep Kawhi they wont even be a factor next season.

All they will be able to spend on free agents will be one tax payer’s mid level exception too which can maybe get you someone like Hood or Dedmon. Damn. Torn Achilles and torn ACL, the two nightmare (used to be career ending) injuries for athletes, to two of Golden State's best players. Probably the worst luck I've heard a team go through, in terms of severity of injuries, the players it happened to (both being star players), the short span they occurred in (occurring in consecutive games), and it happening in the finals of all places.
Makes sense how Klay was able to seemingly move fine for a bit afterwards, though. Have read and heard about people who have gone through the same injury, feeling fine, not thinking much of it initially, before being told they've torn their ACL.

Don't think the Warriors without KD and Klay (given they stay) will make the playoffs comfortably. They'll likely be a lower seed if they do. The West is tough. As you said, Lakers will probably strengthen, with there being a good chance they take up a playoff spot next season, as well as other borderline playoff teams who will also make pushes.

This series really changed my perception of Warriors. Hated them more than any other NBA team before the series for ruining NBA competitiveness and Draymond's stupid face, came out of this actually feeling bad for them and not hating them all that much anymore.

I found it interesting because it really does sound true. I definitely prefer Klay and KD taking the most important shot of the game for my team than Steph.

I think it's fair to say that we'll remember him as the first unanimous MVP, the greatest shooter of all-time and a 3-time NBA champion with countless records behind his name that probably won't be broken for a fair few decades.
