? Where you watching Chamberlain is the clear better player he had an offensive game Russell could not match while Russell would have been slightly better on defense but in one on one matchups Chamberlain consistently had the better of Russell. You don't need to have watched to have the sense the Chamberlain was the better player. The fact Russell is the ultimate champion is what keeps him in the conversation but teams win titles not individuals.

That's not how it's been described to me by people who watched them both play. How have you come to this conclusion, may I ask? Highlight reels and stats?

No he is the better player he was selfish and he 'choked' the same way they say Lebron does. Russell is seen as the winner the player who did whatever it took to win the better teammate.

Game time I want this to go 7 hopefully it stays close throughout.

I do not want a game 7. The momentum will be with the Heat. Just hold off Lebron and you are good Spurs.

In the 3 peat you could have put a few players in at that time for Kobe and the Laker's still win the same way NOBODY is replacing that Shaq those where the most dominant final performances' ever.

No way. Kobe was devastating on the wing. Shaq had more freedom because of Kobe's threat outside the paint.

Shaq is the reason they won he was double teamed Kobe was playing one on one for the most part you would expect him to go off a few players could have had that role and they would have won. Shaq was just that good.

They will.. It's Dallas all over again.. Exact same story.

The team with the most experience prevails in the end. Miami only won last year because they faced a younger team in the finals.

Also, how pointless it is to have home court advantage in the finals?! I wish Miami didn't have home court advantage in the finals this year too..

Shaq was a one man wrecking machine even before he joined the Lakers, but with Orlando he only made it to the conference finals IIRC.

He peaked in those finals don't overstate Kobe's performance he was important but like I said a few players could have done his job.

If this went 7 I would back San Antonio I don't see the Spurs losing twice in a row. I always thought if they come out of the first 5 3-2 up they win.

2-3-2 is so silly can't believe they still do it.

I agree.. The Heat lost this in game 1 IMO. SA were a bit rusty and Miami should have taken advantage of that, but they dropped game 1 in the end (credit for Parker as well for making that shot), and with it they lost their chance IMO.

Good half. Duncan is dominating and Spurs are doing a great job on Miami in the paint. If they double team Timmy, it opens up the 3 pointers. Miami have to make adjustments defensively.

Spurs will hopefully finish this off in the second half.

Pop is such a great coach.. Used Green to win game 5, and bait the Heat for game 6.. Clearly, with Green's name engraved in Spoelstra's head, it's time for Duncan to win it for the Spurs.

Well played.

They are so well drilled. Their defence is stifling. The heat are lost right now. Parker has been quiet and Ginobli has been awful. This could get ugly Heat need to come out hard.

Its especially weird to do it only in the finals but not in the other playoff series. When it first came about the idea was less traveling, but to skimp on the final when all the others are 2-2-1-1-1 can't be what they're thinking.

By the way, Bosh is starting to look to pretty pointless for Miami.. I mean you can't even rely on his jumpers now! And I don't think Miami are keeping him for his defence...

Ginobli he is such an enigma he can be amazing and awful in the same play he's hurting them tonight. Parker to take over. Close game though this is what I like to see.

Miami are awful right now.. No offensive excution whatsoever, jump shot after jump shot after jump shot... All misses of course.

Heat need to stop bitching about the calls. Play tougher you pussies.

Miami have given up you can see it. Wade and Lebron reluctant jump shut shooting. Spurs are just hungrier.
