Are we trying to emulate 'Showtime' or Charlotte?

fecking 0-10 since the big trade moves, with some massive losses in terms of points. At least Howard put up the numbers, hope Nash is not out too long.

They need time to gel but with the talent on that roster and expectations very high, I don't think the fans or the owners will show much patience if results don't improve.

If Brown goes, who can take over as coach?

Harden had a great debut.

How did the Blazers look? That's a pretty impressive win and box score from them. Even better debut from Lillard than I had hoped for!

Lillard 23 pts, 11 ast
Batum 26 pts, 6 re, 3 st
Mathews 22pts, 4 st
Aldridge 19 pts, 2 bs
Hickson 13 pts, 10 re

This team can do some serious damage if they keep putting up those numbers.

It is a documented fact that players do relatively better when they are in the contract year or playing for a contract.

I'll do it. Pick and Rolls with Nash and Howard, give the ball to Kobe now and again, easy peasy.

Phil Jackson commented several times that Kobe would often refuse to run the plays he called and would call a new play on the floor once the clock started. If he did that to one of the greatest coaches of all time, I imagine he doesn't even talk to Brown.

feck the lakers! Clippers to make it 0-3 later!

Harden is in beast mode right now - 45pts tonight.

Lakers need to win to get the season going, Nash misses out.

Following the game on twitter (still no TV deal for UK) and it seems the Princeton offense is a joke, Kobe is draining shots, there is no ball movement, Howard is taking mid-range jumpers, howard is in foul trouble, hill is injured and mike brown is a clown. For someone who is meant to be a defensive coach, he's not very good at it.

Lakers will be 0-3 unless things improve in the remainder of the game.

Another loss for the Lakers. This is un-fecking-believable! Mike Brown needs to go. We need better offense.

Harden might have a shot at the scoring title at this rate, the Rockets look decent.

Lillard and Davis definitely the stand out rookies so far.

I wish I could buy stock in Lillard, amazing he's flown under the national radar as a college player, even at Weber State.

As far as the Lakers, when we don't bring it I have no sympathy, I hope teams make us pay until Kobe wakes up one day and realizes that basketball is about passing and not about who can make the fanciest jump shot.

May the basketball Gods have mercy on us when Miami rediscover their defensive identity.

Wouldn't it be funny if Kobe became a bench player for the Heat for a few years at the end of his career and picked up enough titles to pass Jordan?

Oh, how the people would bitch.

The Knicks looking real good right now, Melo committed to playing D.

Kobe will retire a Laker.

There were rumours of Lakers making a move for Bron-Bron when his contract is up (at the same time as Kobe I think). I don't believe he would move to LA unless Miami becomes irrelevant and can't win rings. Although, the thought of him playing in purple & gold is

Yes FINALLY! They are playing with some fire tonight. Howard has been a beast in the first half.

Who is this Lillard? Where did he go in the draft?
