No way do Detroit beat the Celtics in the playoffs. Just not good enough. And I can't see SA beating the Celtics too. I don't even think they'll get to the WCF tbh.

Only way the Celtics don't win the title is if they lose a key player or they choke BIG time.

Lakers can take about Boston if Bynum is playing.

What's funny is people say this about the Spurs every year this time. They had no chance to beat Detroit in 2005 (the reigning champions). Mission accomplished. Weren't supposed to get out of the west in 2007. Another title run. If the Spurs survive the best of the west, I know who I'm placing my bet on in the finals. Not Boston, assuming they win the least of the east.
 
i heard bynum will be out longer than expected. plus, even if he does come back there is no guarantee that he will as good as he was before his injury, or that the team chemistry will not be disrupted. it'll probably take a while for him to get used to playing games and i'm not sure it's in the best interest of the team to bring him in and move gasol to the 4spot considering we've done fairly well with the lineup we've been using since bynum's injury.

yes way... detroit is freakin good. they are boring as hell and i wouldn't want them to win it again, but they are not stepovers.

I feel sorry for Nowitzki, such a great player yet he will probably finish his career never to win the golden ring (unlike KG who has finally got his chance). Kidd has been useless so far and it is hard to see how he and the rest of the team can stand against Chris Paul the superman. I think the Hornets are able to finish it all in Dallas.

You never know, Detroit have a team that is talented as feck and actually matches up with the Celts, reckon it will go at least six if everyone's healthy. Hope the C's make it to the finals though, my pops favorite team for years went with him to the Finals in 86' for a game in Boston as we lived in D.C. Great time, can't wait to go back, the Fleet Center may not be the Boston Garden but the crowd is the same
