Breaking on SSN is that Chelsea have enquired about him

FFS will we ever sign a midfielder in this window??? If their interest is real then I can see Nasri choosing them over us

Seems like they're following our path. If they cant get Modric then they'll go for Nasri. All looks likely that Modric wants to go to Chelsea tho, wonder are Chelsea lookin both of them, greedy cnuts!

I am calm, you cock.

I've basically given up on this one, he'll got to City or Chelsea.

He said the other day he wants to win titles & money's not important to him. So this is a question of walking the walk for him now. He's gonna make himself look like a right twat if he goes to City, Chelsea not so much, but turning us down looks contradictary given that we've just won the league & got to the final of the Champions League - we're the team these players should be lookin to come to - especially when there's no pull from Barca!

He'll go to City, feck him. Anderson, Fletcher, Carrick it is then.

I'm still hopeful of this one. I have a feeling he does actually want to move for footballing reasons.

Besides, we might not be able to offer the wages City can but we can offer a lot more than the £90,000 Arsenal offered him.

He'll pick Chelsea, conveniently stating that 'staying in London for family' is his main reason for doing so.

Or Man City by insisting that they're 'going places' and are a club with a 'massive future' etc.

In other words he'll make up some convenient BS left, right and center to justify joining whoever gives him the largest pay packet. And something tells me thats not going to be us.

In my calmness I would like to ask for your home address in order to come there and beat your ass down. I am a very strong man and way too awesome for you too handle, bitch.

Also, have a cup of tea ready.

Sorry, i'm just not that sort of girl.. i'm sure there's a load of phone boxes near you where you can find what you're lookin for - but it aint me babe... nah nah nah... it aint me you're looking for.... babe..

He won't even have the chance to turn us down. If we have the possibility to speak to him, he will choose us over Chelsea or City, but Arsenal don't want to do business with us which is strange as Chelsea and City are arguably biggest rivals at this stage. If he really wants to come to United, I can see this drag on until the very end of the transfer window when Arsenal will have no other possibility than selling him to us, otherwise he'll go to City, and if he does, feck him.

I've learnt over recent years that footballers couldn't care less about looking like right twats.

You're joking there surely. Either that or you don't watch Sky too often.

Up to now we've enquired about almost every player on the market and bid for most.

Well that's not true is it, I cant remember once their little breaking news thing pop up saying their sources understand we've enquired about Nasri, Sneijder, Modric or any other player (apart from those we have actually signed that is)

Anything regarding interest from us in players that they have touched on has just been regurgitated from the papers rather than their sources (not saying their sources are accurate that is)

first of all.....i am not slagging either player off here......BUT

1.) we are reportedley paying rooney £200k per week!!!!

2.) we paid £18m ish for ashley young and paying him £120 - 140k per week in wages!!!!

Therefore where is this theory that we cant match wages etc etc coming from!!!!!!????

Personally, ability wise he sits right in between those two maybe closer towards rooney! therefore with our revised pay structure and with him only going for £22m ish......why are we fecking about. we need a midfielder!!!!! nasri is young, ideally suited to us and european football, he's going relativley cheap.......for christ sake Sir Alex......do the fecking deal!!!! offer £25m....give him £150 / £160 k per week and get him in for pre-season!!!!

this is a no brainer for me!!!!! ive admired him for 2 years now and always thought he would be perfect for us.

You need to pay more attention to Sky. If the player's good then Chelsea, Real, City and United are automatically interested according to Sky. Lot's of vague stuff pops up on that yellow ticker. It's par for the course.

Apart from which why are you fussing so much about a blithering enquiry?

An enquiry is: "Hi Arsenal, we've been hearing rumours on Sky that Nasri is thinking of leaving. He's a pretty useful player to have around and with only one year on his contract he should be a bargain for some club. If you're selling we might consider a bid. What sort of price were you thinking of asking for him?"

I highly doubt both those figures are accurate. It seems to me these figures that some journo plucked out from thin air are brought up as 'facht' too often. Sorry, not having a go at you but this is not the first time someone has quoted these figures.

Wasn't it said he's only actually on £80k p/w

I say 'only'... oh to earn that amount of money! :D

ive read various things.

the point being......i think we can match wages.

more importantly when there is only one position that needs filling..........it really wouldnt bothered me in the slightest if we paid nasri 10k, 20k or even 30k over the odds to what we may normally have done to get him in!

i appreciate that...........likewise i suspect nasri's demands / expectations are also exagerated.....the figures qouted as being on offer from city probs will be too.

in reality all wages / demands and offers will probs be lower!

but for the purpose of conveying my point i used "data" publicaly available!!!

#CFC interest in Nasri doesn't affect bid for Modric. Different positions and AVB plan for team would accomodate both. #AFC #THFC

Zero proof of any concrete info surrounding Nasri. I do think wherever he ends up will be sorted by the end of the week.

Wouldn't surprise me if we have showed absolutely no interest.

Some teams press office is working overtime.

Nialls press off (aka Red Cafe Transfer Forum) is totally dedicated to working overtime, and will compensate doin any actual work in their paid jobs for the benefit of said forum!

££££££££££££££s is the key factor at work with many players nowadays it seems. Football is truly ruined at the top level thanks to Chelsea and Shitty

Nice to be able to throw my knowledge into the ring, but Nasri`s agent and father flew into Manchester last Friday via a private plane which was handled by Ocean Sky . My contact asked who picked them up, and it was an MCFC official driver , so talks have probably taken place.
