Well Zlatan has looked much better than the younger Rashford and Martial this season so on that basis you can't knock him. The youngsters have let us down big time this season. In particular those two mentioned.
 
Does it matter. I have no faith in our scouts. We have the second most valuable squad in the world right now yet are still struggling to make top 4

That would give us a grand total of 4 players who could score in our squad. Nice.
 
1) Icardi/Grizzmann for strikers
2) Semedo and Mendy/Bertrand for fullbacks,
3) Fabinho with Andreas Perreira returning for centre midfield

Then selling Rooney, Young, Fellani. Think this squad should be enough to win the league.
 
The only player who has really impressed me this season is Naby Keita for Leipzig - extremely consistent and is the engine in their midfield.

Keita would be the one player I really would like to see at United next summer. He strikes me as the type of player who will go to an Everton or Southampton for a relatively low fee and in a year's time could be worth 3 times as much.

Edit: Also, Dybala has amazing talent. He will almost certainly go on to be one of the best in the world. Not sure if he is the player we need at the minute but certainly a player who will do great things in the future.

It was May 19th when the first Pogba rumours came to light. I don't think any of us had even considered that transfer at that stage.

I'm going to predict a similar shock coming soon, Judas Aguero.

I always wanted Benzema to come to United when he was 19 but he moved to Madrid. He's an experienced No. 9 who will score goals. We keep getting individuals who are amazing in their own right but don't manage to produce it together on the pitch. I hope we buy someone who ends up working well together.

But Griezmann (RW/ SS) and Benzema (ST) would be a good summer in the striking department.

It would be perfect. Especially given thier age.
 
All this while I kept thinking that we need our to strengthen our defense and midfield since we have Zlatan, Martial, Rashford, Mkhi to get the goals for us. Unfortunately, what we need is serious goal scorers. I'm done waiting for amateurs like Rashford and Martial to score goals. They can go out on loan and gain experience because they clearly are not delivering and cannot be depended upon. Rashford in particular has been absolutely abysmal in front of goal. Our wingers are just terrible.

Can someone tell me why in the world are our wingers not good crossers of the ball? It's simple.... just like how defenders' main duty is to defend. Wingers' main duty is to cross the ball in and create chances to score.

Did anyone watch Lingard cross the ball today? Wasn't fit to play for pub team, let alone Manchester United. I'm sick and tired of us turning into Mediocre United.

Yes, we hit the woodwork
Yes, we had a goal that was was flagged offside by mistake
But what about the rest of the game? our performance was utter nonsense. We've been doing so for quite sometime now.

Pogba was so slow today. He barely had any impact coming on in the second half and the same goes for Mkhi. Very poor indeed.

As a United supporter, I find it very disheartening to find us struggling at such a crucial time.

We need players that can attack the goal with direct play.
I don't care if Zlatan remains or not but my 4 players would be as follows

To the people suggesting Lindelof. You do realise he's bang average don't you? He would be your 5th best, senior, CB if he joined.
 
We need;

- Players with strong winning mentalities. Too many players at the moment that don't have the drive and buckle under pressure. We need people who are desperate to win league titles and believe they should.

- Intelligent players. We need better decision makers. Players who make the right passes, know when to slow the tempo and when to up it and players who don't panic when we're chasing a lead and start going long unless there's 20 seconds left. Most of all players with more intelligent movement is a complete necessity.

- Style. Our attacking players are either dribblers or passers. We need people who can do both. Run past men and spot a pass. Huge problem when trying to break defensive block teams down.
