Luton: Ross Barkley & Brian Stein.

Think Barkley being the playmaker and Stein getting the goals would have made a prolific duo.

Teddy Sheringham and Andy Cole.

Salah and Suarez

Robertson and Barnes

VVD and Hyppia would have been cigar central

Ferdinand Stam is a good shout, doubt it'd be better than Ferdinand Vidic though.

Would love to see Keane and Bruno in the same midfield, might end in a murder charge though.

Rvp Yorke would be a great strike partnership I reckon.

I was about to insult you for being old enough to have seen Brian Stein play and then I realised that I saw him play. :(

Mark > Brian though.
To be fair, most of my viewership on him has been watching old matches. I didn't watch him live you old fart

Not an Arsenal fan but I reckon Ozil feeding Henry would have led to many many great goals.

Antony and Dong.

But seriously Ferdinand and Martinez.
Dalot may have complimented Beckham nicely.

Keane as Brunos DM

I think Bruno and RVP would have been really good.

RVP had really good movement and could finish in all sorts of unorthodox ways.

Scholes and (22-23) Casemiro.

Kante and Makalele, though I do like the Hazard and Robben suggestion.

Not really the same thing, but if Duncan Edwards hadn’t died in the Munich air disaster he certainly would have been a major player throughout the 60s when we won the Champions League for the first time. Imagine him with Best and Law. We’d probably have won quite a few more league titles as well.

Yeah, Ruud & Bruno.

Both could be in their absolute element and be wholly lauded for it without any caveats.
