They are, but failed to make their mark in the Uefa cup, against lesser teams than Real played in the Champions League

My point is, that it's not as simple as saying team A finished above team B in the league, hence their better, e.g. Valencia won the Spanish title but failed in Europe, while Real finished third in Spain but won the toughest club compettion in the world. Not as plain cut as Davo is trying to make it out to be.

I haven't categorically said that Real are the best team in Euroe.

I agree with Livvie's view that the better team doesn't necessarily always get the best results - there have been many examples of this through the years.

So, even if team A finish above team B, team A isn't necessarily the best team..That's the beauty of football

I felt we were the best team in 95 when Blackburn won the title, whereas I reckon Newcastle was the best team the season after when we won it. The best team does not alwys finish first, as I said

Well, I have to say that it is the people working in the 'capitalist world' that pay their taxes so that the government can pay for health and education services. And what are we educating our kids for but to work in the capitalist world - a full circle. We cant all be doctors, nurses, and teachers.

We are all as important to the smooth running of the society in which we live. :)

Davo is just a bit deluded about his worth to society, thats all! ;)

In Wales he's in the top five of important people by thae very fact there's a serious shortage of important people of any kind.
