I would say that Nvidia is far better at this than Tesla… as most companies are at anything Tesla does…
You see, rather than waste money on bespoke r&d, GM (along with most smart automakers… probably) go to external suppliers to purchase certain things because they can effectively use each other for R&D purposes. Ie. buying brembo brakes, Mitsubishi electronic control units etc.
You learn more from the 30 million+ VAG, GM, Ford etc cars running the same or similar architecture (and a lot cheaper for development costs), than a company running its own bespoke software producing a limited number of vehicles per year (and being dropped by its precious markets at an alarming rate at that).
What is happening to Tesla is exactly what anybody with a sane thought in the motor vehicle world predicted… people who currently drive vw’s, audis, Mercedes, ford etc are not going to replace them with those piece of shit Elon mobiles.
The smartest thing he could have done is continue to develop the battery tech and sell it as a supplier along with the software to those manufacturers. Instead he’s screwed that pooch and now China has lead frogged him by a considerable distance.
Nobody can say how many Twitter users are bots as it's undeniable a large percentage of users are bot accounts. So the number of users can't be properly assessed.
I can't find anything anywhere saying Twitter is turning a profit, some reports are saying Ad revenue is down as much as 86% when compared to when it was at its hi highest.
It's still only the 12th most popular social media site/app in the world so while holding firm there's no doubt that it's suffering from Elons takeover and the way it's changed since. Sites like Bluesky that are growing daily prove this.
Quite a few very important and well respected and followed news outlets and famous users have pulled their accounts on Twitter and moved over to Bluesky. If that trend continues then it's fair to say that Twitter will obviously suffer.

For all their advantage in training data (I do not particularly agree on that), they are nowhere near Waymo when it comes to their system. And were nowhere near Cruise and Argo before their run out of money. And probably are not as good as Wayve, albeit Wayve at some stage will run out of money, cause self driving cars are now happening for a while and such companies burn money.
So yes, they can wait for their technology to become superior by waiting the others to go bankrupt first. However, unlucky for them, Waymo is an Alphabet company which means that they won’t run out of money. And are years ahead of Tesla.

Twitter stats show it's down 13.7% on last years ad revenue. So clearly still on the decline as most major advertising companies have pulled out.
