Moyes So Far!

Again, that is not even answering the question because Sir Alex has said he has retired for good

SAF is a Manchester United's employee. If the Glazers say jump...It will be just for few months. The man would probably offer little resistance to it. He loves United after all and is probably grieving seeing this shit going on.

Lets make it clear. I am saying what I would do if I was Moyes. Its evident that this man is out of depth and its seem that the club is not ready to spend the money he needs to build a new side from nearly scratch. I wouldn't stay in that situation.

If Moyes doesn't want to resign then he should stay till the end. However any deals made in January must be carefully monitored and must make sense. I hope that the club wont allow him to throw another 28m in the bin. Now if he manages to make the top 4 spot then keep him. If not then he should be escorted out of OT and lets spend the money to bring a decent manager who knows what winning stuff means.

That is exactly what Moyes did with Everton you bloody idiot. Southampton were already getting out of the relegation zone, their squad was too good to be relegated. They were lucky the manager change worked, because it wasn't so long ago people wanted them out.

Watch your mouth.

I don't know how he's going to be able to turn the tide of shite around, it's coming at him from all angles. I hope we can make it to the summer before the results make a decision for him, I honestly don't know if the club would still give him time if he lost a shit load more games.

It's not. It's really not.
Tell that to all the other failed managers, like Docherty and Big Ron.

It doesn't fecking matter. Most of the people here who say we should sack Moyes now have no clue about who we should get next. Make a revolution with no proper idea for the future and you're fecked anyway. You'll see Klopp being mentioned soon, some people will probably try to resurrect some ex manager 'becoz beter den moyz' and then it will go as bad that shite managers that have won as much as Moyes will be mentioned. Martinez has been described as the Second Coming numerous times here already. It's fecking as bizzare as our play at times.

It's all shit now, yes, but some need to get a fecking grip. There's as much chance of us sacking Moyes right now as me growing third penis.
THIS!

Also you have two penises Kostur? :p

No we just have an average manager too.. The Southampton manger was a good shout. The guy is just clueless. Like i said i can stick by a guy with a philosophy of playing good football. The longer we give this man the worse it will get, he wont change it around.

I hope to god we don't give him any money to spend in January.

I agree with this. If we could see a philosophy or a style of play coming through on the pitch that Moyes was trying to adopt I could understand a few more of these defeats and be a bit more forgiven. But the football we are playing is fecking pre-historic and as shit as I've ever seen.

Replace an 11 year midtable manager with a manager who got relegation candidates to the top 8 and at a strech, the top 4. Also, a manager who orders his team to press and plays attacking football. Very intelligent, thank you.

David Moyes turned Everton from a relegation candidate into a Top 6 side.

We actually played decent stuff too last season. Amazing this myth that we were total shit last season yet won the league by 12 points.
Didn't we score a shit load of goals last season? I didn't like our football last season and thought it was poor to watch. But league winners by a mile, 5 titles out of 7, let's not even go near what fergie did. The football was lacking in quality at times, yes, but look we've fallen drastically.

I feel sorry for Moyes, if he can turn this mess around, I'd be willing to give him another season. He looks so defeated and overwhelmed. Has he has post match interview yet?

The lack of any game plan, any direction is whats worrying me. Last year at Liverpool, we were all having a laugh as Rodgers tried to get hem to pass it around and it would cost them points, but now look at them. He had a clear plan in mind and what was needed to get there. I could accept these results if there was a method, if there was obviously an end game Moyes was working towards, but I just don't see it. I don't think anyone does. Its stone age tactics.

We were shit under Ferguson for the last few years, league winners or not. The way we lost those two European Cup Finals was the writing on the wall.

Now under Moyes we are seeing just how many average players we have. Is that really Moyes' fault?

Why is this taken for common sense now? It's imply not true. We had our shit games under Fergie and they got more frequent in his last few years but we still had a lot of good games as well. We never looked as consistently shit as we look now.

My head does honestly hurt right now, just a shock of another home defeat.

It's all too easy to give the hindsight sh!t now, but so many of us were massively alarmed when the announcement came through. Then we thought, oh, well maybe it's a good call, when we heard the big talk of major players. Then alarm with Fellaini, panic bids and no improvement. Then we allowed it a bit after a comfy charity shield win and that 4-1 v Swansea.

Since then it's been as we feared.

Just think about it, hiring a guy who hadn't won anything, and turning down Mourinho, who despite his BS about only wanting to come to Chelsea thought he was a shoein.

"yeah, we don't just want a guy who'll win stuff for 3-4 years, let's go for erm...the long term option"

Yeah, he said we played quite well and were unlucky. Said he thought the red card was the right call.

As they're saying on BT Sport now, why not use the post-match pressers to add pressure on the players (ala Jose on Mata earlier in the season, etc)

More shite in his interview. They might as well record the interview and use it every week. We were unlucky, we didn't create quite enough. Bullshit.

True. But as I said, we have a squad that's a year older now. Key players injured, older and all the rest. We all know this squads limitations. Its just exacerbated with the transition to Moyes.

David Moyes turned Everton from a relegation candidate into a Top 6 side.

And he's turned the league champions into a top 8 side. That's not the point DT, point is, this guy doesn't have a style, a philosophy, nothing. Most of his time at Everton consisted of long balls to the big man up top. When he's asked to play real football with us, he's bottled it. It's funny seeing how many people laugh at the reference to Pochettino when he did the job David Moyes did in his 11 years in a single season. The difference between the two is, our manager doesn't know what he's doing, whereas the other one has a style and his teams set out with a purpose.

I would have jumped on someone for a post like this a month ago but every week it feels like we reach a new nadir. Moyes just seems to say the wrong things and do the wrong things. What we are seeing on the pitch is just painful.

People talk about Fergie leaving him a shit squad. That's utter rubbish. This squad are champions. It has a few holes, which Moyes has pointedly failed to address, but he's gotten nothing out of his players at all. His tactics look like something from a bygone era. We're losing games at home because the team is disorganized, disjointed and bereft of confidence. Not to mention his one and only signing is the 4th most expensive in united history and is utterly appalling and ill suited to our club. Oh, and 5m more expensive than he should have been.

Up until this point Moyes's performance as manager has been terrible and shambolic. The club will do what they feel is right and as fans there is not much we can do except get behind the team when they play. And to the fans credit, they have given the team incredible support at home an do the road, in trying circumstances.
