Teen Wolf 2
So bad it maded the original seem almost watchable.
I’ll see your 8% Rotten Tomatoes rated werewolf sequel and raise it with 7% for this American werewolf that should have stayed in London.

If you're going to direct a piece of crass, nonsensical junk, at least have the decency to release it straight to video, where it belongs.
I read that as Assassin's Creed III and just wasted five minutes googling it. Coffee time...Apparently Creed III is coming this year. I didn’t even know there was a Creed II.
It wasn't supposed to be a sequel, they wrote and filmed it as a normal film, but then being a sequel was tacked onto it by producers or the company, even though it made no sense.Damnit I was going to post that! This would have to win the award for ‘not at all getting what the original was about’!
Lion King 2. Only discovered its’ existence in the last 2 years
Highlander.
Not a great classic in itself
More of a mockbuster than a sequelTitanic 2.
The first one is quite impressive:
"Over its six-year run, the series had many notable guest stars including Joan Jett, Vanity, Richard Moll, Traci Lords, Sheena Easton, "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, Nia Peeples, Rae Dawn Chong, Eric McCormack, Sandra Bernhard, Claudia Christian and Ron Perlman. "
That's heresy, surely? The original is great.
Hey, I liked it! Gotta like the Queen songs, too. Wouldn't call it a 'great classic' though - but come to think of it, there aren't really a lot of all-time classics in this thread anyway.
I feel 'notable' is a bit overused there though - I recognize two names! (Jett and Perlam)
I was alive in the 80s, but I've never watched a lot of tv series (understatement), and I'm not originally from North America. So I have no idea how I would have to know much of these people or series - I never even heard of Cheech and Chong for example. I also looked up Sandra Bernhard now, and I'm not sure how I'm supposed to know her if I never watched Roxanne. You might be being a little US-centric here.Someone wasn't alive in the 1980s
All were huge in the 80s. Richard Moll was the 6'8 actor in Night Court. Traci Lords was {in}famous because she made a few porn movies when she was 17 then acted in a few real movies (Cry Baby with Johnny Depp). Sheena Easton was a massive pop star did the theme for a James Bond movie, Rowdy Roddy was a WWF legend as enemy of Hulk Hogan, Nia Peeples served a spell as the hot it-girl, Rae Dawn Chong is the daughter of Tommy Chong (Cheech and Chong), McCromack - WIll and Grace, Sandra Bernhard (I refuse to believe anyone doesn't know who she is), Claudia Christian - probably least famous but on tons of 80s TV shows.
I would be disappointed by the younger generation's lack of cultural knowledge but I guess I can't name a single tiktok star or insta-fluencer or streaming gamer so it evens out.

The US-based audience then. I know zero US comedians if they haven't had a famous career in movies (or the internationally most famous series).Bernhard was a famous comedian long before she was on Roseanne (and I've never been a fan of stand-up comedy). Maybe it's US-centric (and if you weren't in Canada in the 1980s it makes sense) but I guarantee the original audience of that Highlander show from 92-98 would have 100% known the majority of those names so notable is definitely a valid description.

I have similar discussions with my (Canadian) wife. Bands that she thinks were huge in the 90s mean absoultely nothing to me. (But as music nut, I will generally have heard of them - but even there not always.)
I know.I was just defending the adjective "notable" which you questioned based on your personal knowledge
Absolutely true though that different people's experience will mean different people are famous to them. Plenty of famous people now that I've never heard of too!
Yeah he fights Drago's son.Apparently Creed III is coming this year. I didn’t even know there was a Creed II.
Police Academy 4
Somehow manages to be even worse than the previous 3. These are the best bits apparently. Painfully bad.
Why would you watch the other two if you found the first one terrible?
Wizard of Oz
Turns out there was a sequel to Star Wars, is it any good?
As if you didn't like the speeders going through the forests of Endor.Yup, they made one in 1980, it was excellent, and then none after that. Strange, but I guess they wanted to end on a high note with universal love and acclaim.
Give me a synopsis of this film please
I know.
Oh, yeah, if I want to feel old, I just have to check what's hot right now in music or on social media. I don't even get the reference in most memes. And 'hot' is probably also not a hot word anymore.
what is this??.... i have to see it!!!How about American Psycho 2 starring Mila Kunis and William Shatner.
