according to the commentator in today's match. They include Higuain, Kaka, Albiol. Not sure who the remaining three are, but I'm guessing they might be Carvalho, Altintop, and possibly Granero. Higuain's agent is apparently in Madrid to discuss his future with PSG reportedly interested. Not sure where Kaka might end up at this stage. His star has fallen significantly since leaving Milan.

Danish commentator talked about both Kaka and Higuain to PSG.

Higuain is a great talent, whoever gets him has done well.

I wouldn't be surprised if Granero stayed at Madrid for a while longer.

Do you think Kaka could still cut the mustard in england? I have a feeling he probably could, if he was available for around £20m or less then i would say definitely.

He'd be as effective van Der Vaart IMO.OK in some games but off the pace in others.Would fit in well at Newcastle

SAF best sign any players we have our eyes on because once RM clear the decks they'll be hoovering up most of the worlds talent.

Why would they want to get rid of Higuain? He is a great backup option to have for Benzema.

Higuain is a fantastic player in the making, whoever gets him would do well. Kaka is a big gamble though, dont think he's worth spending 20mil on. The rest are meh..

Feels like 2009 (?) when Madrid were trying to offload a bucket load of players at the end of the season, including the likes of Sneijder, Robben et van der Vaart, if I remember correctly.

I would take Higuain here. Brilliant poacher who would probably be able to score 20+ goals a season if used in the correct way. Rooney and him would be able to form a brilliant partnership.

I wouldn't take Kaka here though. He's an attacking midfielder who wouldn't fit into the sort of system that we use. He could still be a good signing for quite a few clubs out there though, either in behind the main striker or as the furthest forward of a midfield three.

I'd definitely take Higuain here if/when we let Berba, Owen and Kiko go. I reckon Chelsea would be the more likely English side to get him though.

I definitely think Kiko's days are numbered, when you can't even get a chance in an awful QPR side it says something. Higuain would be a great signing. Will Keane will be great in the future, but I would be tempted to send him on loan. Look at what it did for Danny. He was a scrawny kid when he went. Keane needs a bit of meat on him, then he will be able to deal with PL defenders.

RVP to madrid, higuain + 20 mil the other way?

I hate all this Chelsea and City stuff, we should be able to challenge them for players. It would be nice to have two sets of strikers we can rotate like the old days. Come on Fergie lets spend a bit of money.

The four players not called up for the recent batch of games were: Altintop, Carvalho, Lass and Sahin.

The two that are supposed to be in discussion with PSG are Kaka and Higuain - neither of them were called on today.

It's thought that Madrid want to do a loan deal with Sahin.

I think Mourinho wants to keep Higuain and Albiol but Higuain is not surprisingly getting tired of being a sub or being subbed. Albiol may want to leave. Kaka's just incredibly expensive for a benchwarmer.

So yes - 6 out wouldn't be a surprise.
I think Gago's still officially theirs as well, but there's no way he'll play if he goes back.

Mourinho seem to use the same group of players all the time. About 15 of them.

Even after Bayern Munich game on Wednesday, he made only one change - Granero for Khedira - if I remember correctly. Wonder what would he do if he had an injury crisis.

Real Madrid are like the Bermuda Triangle of football, they sign every player they can and then they disappear off the face of the earth. I bet they lose track of which players they do have.

Granero is about the only one out of the own Academy they have. Iker Casillas and before that Raul. He might not be good as a first team player but good enough as a squad player...

Altintop was already a bench player at Munich and just was playing when they had real big injury troubles. He is experienced and he certainly can be a leading player at a middle class club like he does as captain of the Turkish national team - but he is far away from being a top performer. I did not really understand his move to Real as he just does not have enough class for a top club... His contract at Munich ran out so he was cheap...

 It's funny because it's true!

Weird if he sells Higuain. He's spoken well of him in the season. He's been using Granero a lot as a sub now lately as well. Don't think it would be his choice to sell Granero. Granero is versatile and HG.

Hasn't Higuain been linked with City at times throughout the season? I'd obviously prefer PSG to take him but there might be scope for an exchange like suggested involving Aguero, perhaps allowing City to save a little on wages.

Other than Higuain then it's not as good a list of talent as 2009; I'd say nobody really of interest to our muppetry.

It is most likely that Higuain want more games and you can't blame him for that. I just wonder if PSG would be a good enough club for him. I know they have the money, but it depends if it is just money that motivates him. The quality of the French League still is not great in a world sense.

 That's a fantastic way of saying it. And very true.

Possibly Sahin

Don't see why they'd sell Higuain?

According to my stats he has played more and scored more in la liga than Benzema?

Hasn't Higuain been injury prone lately ? Otherwise, I don't know why RM would let him go!!! He's a brilliant striker !!

Real Madrid transfers rarely make sense. They always seem to offload good players after a year or two for no apparent reason and then spend a fortune replacing them. Sneijder and Robben being prime examples of this.
