It was in the mains forum tho.

Having another thread up on the home page would drive more traffic to the sub forum, which otherwise would IMO lack. Up to you guys of course, just sharing my thoughts.

Personally i don't mind, but i'm just a bit wary because of what happened lat time.

Was it? I think the final was already in the draft forum, which explained the lack of votes (the move came in the later stages of the draft). I can be wrong though, I'm not entirely sure.

Think stopping the drafting when the final is up is really the best of both worlds so that's a fine suggestion IMO.

Think it was moved in the middle of it or ? Either way with more visitors in the sub forum generally should mean more voters. Otherwise you simply won't get as much traffic.
 
Ok, we will start it and you can still decide about the pause during the final.

Yeah, it was moved midway through the draft, around the QF stage. There was a clear fall in voter numbers after that point, I think physio looked at the figures. And some games - even the final - was desperately quiet which was somewhat anti-climactic. Moves us on to a wider issue of having our own forum, which is helpful because it gives us more wiggle room to run multiple threads and discussions at the same time. The pay off is that it can get too insular in here rather than being visible and open to the wider church of the Caf.

After the move to the sub-forum votes in matches declined by about a 1/4. I didn't check what the total votes for the final were but I like the idea of dedicating the forum to the final itself to encourage everyone to join the debate rather than working out who their next pick is. Although our expectations of voter numbers will have to fall after Tuppetgate

Great pick (goes without saying I guess). Was really curious when he will be picked because I rate him extremely highly. In terms of individual ability, he is as talented as anyone.

The only attacking player that I really considered when we got the first pick.

Thanks, man. He's a great tricky player. Needs to move to La League to get more recognition though. Lols Chelsea ;).

With Sarri i dont think he does, finally has a great offensive coach behind him so im pretty sure he will soon be recognised as elite footballer.
