I didn’t say they didn’t, I’m confused as to what point you’re trying to make. What I’m saying is Klopp heavily relies on star players to carry him.

He got eventually sackedwith Lewa and when lost VVD Liverpool massively fell off
. Hes a top coach but would fall apart without Salah, especially with no replacement.

I think that’s obvious to anyone who been following Klopp.

Exactly. Klopp is the first name that comes to my mind too when I think of managers whose teams rely on a single player without whom the team collapses.

Sadio Mane after Salah rocks up in Saudi.

He was tearing up Serie A and was on a shape upward trajectory. it doesn't sound like you're familiar with the situation at all.

Unfollow you’re way off with Salah’s time in italy to the point I’m questioning why you even replied. Salah was in great form before he signed for Liverpool then it continued. It’s not all about goals even the the stats you posted are pretty good. But you were gutted when you googled them.

I didn’t say he didn’timprove salah or other players, so I’m confused as to why you brought that up.
I’m not saying he’s not a good coach but he’s heavily reliant on a star player.

When he lost VVD liver fell off massively and when he lost lewa he eventually got sacked. I have never seen a top manager so heavily affected by losing 1 star player.
You are trying desperately to devalue Klopp as a coach and are failing badly.

If this offer was made in July I think it'd have had a chance, but now regardless to the offer, they can't sell. He's their best player and there's no immediate replacement for him in the market even for a 100m, specially when they aren't playing CL football. He'll be gone next summer.

You're just asking to be mocked with posts like this. Diaz was injured most of the season, Mane sucked at Bayern and got sold at the first chance.

Why would I get mocked for a post on Liverpool on a United forum? Doesn't matter rather he declined at Bayern, his goals were obviously missed at Liverpool.

Take away his goals and assists last 6 years and Pool would be playing in Vanarama National League North right now.

If Salah went to Saudi I'd be happy obviously but disappointed as well. It's a shame to see players that still have something to offer retire early

Would be wise for Liverpool to cash out.

Bit late in the window but still they can respend it later.

31 is a good time to sell if the offer is huge.

They did well with the Coutinho money, hopefully they don't do well again.

It'll be typical Liverpool if he goes on to be crap at Al while Liverpool end up signing 3 players who lead them to titles.

It's an interesting question though: how much is Mo Salah worth right now to the Saudis? North of 100m still?

I imagine he’s particularly appealing to them because he’s probably the most high profile Arabic/Muslim athlete in the world. He’s a high profile name in the west and as far as selling the league to kids in the Middle East I imagine it would be very powerful for them to have a player of his calibre and profile that they can see themselves in.

he’s definitely worth beyond that to the Saudis, and he’s still classed as one of the best players in the world. I think it would be a good move for Liverpool, he looks on the downward curve to me and getting over £100m and a huge wage off the books would allow for a big reinvestment.

Reports in Saudi seem to think the fee is in the range of 60m.

Just to note that this is a state run channel.
Totally different actually.

The BBC is state funded, which actually means it receives funding from taxes. It’s supposed to be independent from government control though.

State run channel in this context means it’s essentially propaganda. The state run it, fund it and have editorial control over it.

Yes I edited the post after realising that. Apologies for the confusion.

This feels like the movies where traditional rivals put their eternal enmity aside and join forces to combat the new, collective enemy.

that puts a different complexion on it tbf, £60m in current climate doesn’t go that far for a forward player.
I hope this is true. Wouldn't give Liverpool such a huge amount to reinvest and I think they would have trouble replacing his goals.

I would imagine there is zero chance they bid £115m for Caicedo and in the same window would accept £60m for Mo Salah

Mo Salah is 31 has 2 years left on his contract. Also it depends on Salah, If he speaks to Klopp and says he wants to leave I doubt they make it difficult for him to do so, considering how much he's done for the club.

They got £40m for Fabinho. They know what the Saudi’s would pay for him. They’re not accepting £60m. I’ll delete my account if they accept less than £100m this summer.

I think the owners leave it late until after our window closes and takes the 60m with the excuses they can’t spend to replace him

You guys are ignoring the fact that Salah is a devote muslim who named his daughter Mecca.

Jeddah is only an hour drive from Mecca (the holiest site in Islam), so he can pretty much pray in Mecca every day after training if he wants, as well as making more money than he would ever get in Europe.

I cant see how Liverpool convince him to stay

No different to having a Tory donor running the BBC after a decent £donation to the party. Govt mates, let them off the hook and turn a blind eye. Not sure the difference between the two media organisations is actually that big.
