MLB 2023

Every year I say I'm going to keep up with baseball this season, and I'm usually out by the end of April.

This year though, this is the one. Let's go Phillies.

Question for the baseball lifers, how many full games do you watch a week, when teams typically play 5/6/7 times a week?
My current life schedule allows me to have a game on the computer screen every game day. Am I always attentively watching? Most of the time & switch between radio & television broadcasters.

Curious to see how the Rays honor Dave Wills, the longtime radio announcer since the team's inception, who passed away a month ago.

I haven't managed to keep up with any of the spring training matches so not sure which teams are coming in hot or not.
But glad they are nice and early starts for some of them and not like 2 am in the morning.

Seems Cole was a fan of the pacing.

Wow, we’re fourth in wins since 2018.

Webb Pitched well (12 K's in 6 innings, 4H, 2BB), just made 2 big mistakes. Glad to see the Giant's hitting broke camp in mid (2022) season form.

Weird seeing sponsoring on the uniforms this season.

When you go to a Dodger game and a Charger game breaks out.

There's a reverse angle floating around that shows more of the security guy racing towards the idiot & getting into a crouch to explode into him. It's a tackle his Pee Wee coach would be proud.

This limited shift rule might end up being my favorite of all the new rules. Ironic, though, as it was my team who basically made it become mainstream.

Frustrating offensive display from the Blue Jays. Flaherty walked 6 of his first 12 batters and we were 0-11 with RISP.

Uncharacteristically poor game defensively from Chapman probably cost us though.

Two series, two sweeps. Who the feck do we think we are?

Was a little concerned about our lack of off season business, but we basically liked the trajectory of a few youngsters (especially left handed bats) & it’s paying off so far.

Happy to see the Rays doing well but couldn't you have gone easier on the Nats? Patrick Corbin was out there tonight

So which currently unknown pitching stud are you guys planning to call up next week @calodo2003 ?
I have no idea what you're talking about, I can't answer anything about baseball until around 1000P tomorrow evening.

Then I would say something along the lines of Mason Montgomery from AA Montgomery if Shane Baz doesn't come back well from IL.

That’s about it for the streak. We are having a uniquely un-Rays-like game tonight. Oh well, it was fun. Glad we were able to achieve a small piece of history for our efforts.
