Friends, family and Healthcare providers I would thinkAnyone know how he actually died or what he had been suffering from?

He wasn't good at his job, unless you think his job was solely to make a fat wedge for himself.
He's always in his players' ear to convince them to move, purely for his own wallet. Has Pogba's career been helped in the last 6 years by Mino spouting crap about the club and publicly angling for a move away? No, Pogba has wasted the prime years of his career being disinterested and distracted. In 10, 20 years time will players think, I'm glad I have 5% more money in the bank, or will they think, I regret not achieving more as a player? If you think it's the former you're deluded.
I even think the notion that agents help get a better financial deal for their clients is at best overexaggerated, and at worst possibly a complete falsehood. Mino and his ilk were taking millions or even 10s of millions for themselves for a transfer or contract renewal.
Agents, especially the mega agents, don't help facilitate deals, they hinder deals, for their own purposes. They don't care about the players interests, they just care that players think they care about their interests. It's a leach industry. They exploit wealthy young men who generally haven't had as much academic qualification or life experience.
His ability and influence was overrated on here, because Pogba was our highest status player upon arriving and for the first few seasons, and it was a deal Mino had milked a ton from. Other than Haaland, he doesn't have (m)any top bracket players now. What City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Barca, Madrid, Bayern players are on his books? Surely a top agent would get his players to those teams and regularly be doing business with the biggest ? No, he has a few top players wasting their careers at PSG though. I'm sure he convinced them it was the best move for their careers. Could he help a young player get a good first move or first big move, and make a big amount? Probably. Was that move necessarily best for the player? Not necessarily.
Anyway, whatever. Bye Mino.
A man has died & people still can’t get over him saying things they didn’t like about their club although had he still been alive & working on a Haaland transfer to United there’d be crickets. Multiple posters have said nothing but negativity about him yet will rock up in one of his agents threads. That is one of the most overused phrases online these days. What does it even mean in this context?
Clubs probably hated dealing with him but his clients seemed to love him. RIP.
Have always been consistent on him.Solid WUM attempt
I understand this is meant to be rhetorical but in no world should someone receive 20 million for effectively acting as a middle man. There’s has to be little skill to this job if Wanda Icardi is able to do it. What he created was a monopoly that forced negotiations by virtue of acquiring the worlds best players
The primary “skill” is in acquiring the world’s best players, I suppose (others would do it if they could).I understand this is meant to be rhetorical but in no world should someone receive 20 million for effectively acting as a middle man. It would be a good place to start I suppose.Friends, family and Healthcare providers I would think
He doesn't need to have done anything for me, in order for me to offer condolences. What a weird requirement that is.
There's a difference between "being truly devastated" and offering sincere condolences. Raiola hasn't damaged this club in the way the Glazers have. He was just the recipient of millions the glazers and their minions decided to voluntarily throw at him.
In what world should Raiola have received 20 million for brokering a deal? In a world where both parties agree to it? It's not like he was forcing anybody to do business with him. His clients seemed to love it and were free to dump him at any time.
Raiola ran a good legitimate hustle. Respect.
offering condolences = faking sadness or feeling sad. How old are you and are you somewhere on the spectrum?the man was a leech he brought nothing to this game except greed, and he showed it vulgarly, he was one of many wrong symptoms of modern football. supporters faking saddness for his passing baffling me, unless you are dreaming of becoming like him one day.
yeah i doubt SAF or the club were happy when he persuaded Pogba to leave this club. It's clear that you basically find nothing amicable about this person except the fact that he was good leeching money off football clubs and the bold part dear me, if you're sad about the passing of someone who constantly embarrasing your club in the public be my guess.
Read some reports that he had lung cancer.Anyone know how he actually died or what he had been suffering from?
He had just signed Ronald Macdonald to The Arse.RIP big man.
Had the pleasure of meeting him in a McDonald's once.
He was surprisingly down to earth, and VERY funny.

He always looked grossly overweight in the pictures I saw of him. It's baffling to me why someone with his wealth didn't hire a personal trainer/nutritionist and get in shape. RIP and condolences to the family.
Unless he has a protege or his company has some up and comers, all the talent he'd normally sweep up will be going with the likes of Mendes and others who will sweep up. When a powerful <anything> dies, there's a scramble for the pie they've left behind, and without their respect/fear/control, things can actually descend into chaos, so the agent market could become very intriguing now. If you're into that sort of thing.Make no mistake he helped ruin football. God willing the mega agent would die with him.
This just means he was a very good agent. His role isn't to give a shit about clubs and their interests, his role is to get his clients the best deal possible.Did his clients pay him or was it the clubs? I think the issue that most have is that he took way more money out of the game then should be possible and had a loud mouth. A very good agent for players and not so for clubs.
Different discussion but there should be some kind of limit on agent fees and I’m surprised the bug clubs have not helped to get this implemented.

I know this may not have been directed at me but I have made a somewhat positive post about Raiola so I think it's worth mentioning that I do not consider myself a "fan" of his. I just also didn't really dislike the guy. I just saw him as a guy who was good at what he did, basically.Sad he died but my overwhelming emotion is bemusement. Not only a multi page thread dedicated to an agent. This same agent seems to have actual fans. What the feck has happened to football?

The ethics of the amount of money he took out was nonne of his business. That should have been up to the authorities to regulate.
Having a loud mouth was part of why he was very good. As an agent, you can only judge him from the pov of his clients. He was paid a lot of money to get shit done for his clients and he was undoubtedly very good at it. The way he did it was none of their concern.
Don't get me wrong, I didn't like the man and wanted us to have nothing with him but as a professional, you can only say yeah, he was good at his job.

I'm more bemused by those who don't show a very low level of human decency. They talk about him as if he wronged them on a personal levelSad he died but my overwhelming emotion is bemusement. Spot on. What's next- gun salutes and black arm bands?Sad he died but my overwhelming emotion is bemusement. Not only a multi page thread dedicated to an agent. This same agent seems to have actual fans. What the feck has happened to football?
Maybe he knew he had no much time left and wanted his last check asap.
