RIP super agent
No condolence from me. I'd never understand why football fans "respect" this guy? He was just another leeches in the football world "extorting" money for himself, what has he done for the supporters that warrant "respect" and "awe"?
Unless you have telepathic powers, it's something unnecessary to sayOnly if these condolences come from the heart, which I doubt.
You're aware agents exist in other lines of work?No condolence from me. I'd never understand why football fans "respect" this guy? He was just another leeches in the football world "extorting" money for himself, what has he done for the supporters that warrant "respect" and "awe"?
The ethics of the amount of money he took out was nonne of his business. That should have been up to the authorities to regulate.Did his clients pay him or was it the clubs? I think the issue that most have is that he took way more money out of the game then should be possible and had a loud mouth. A very good agent for players and not so for clubs.
Different discussion but there should be some kind of limit on agent fees and I’m surprised the bug clubs have not helped to get this implemented.
To say he wasn't good at his job is so wrong. His job wasn't to cater to fans
Is it just me or were people a lot more sympathetic when he died first time around
Respect for his skills more than him advancing / contributing to the sport or the fans. Football is a global business, agents are necessary and as far as agents go he was probably the best one out there.
I agree that there are a lot more people out there deserving respect than a guy who gets already rich / spoilt players a little more money.
RIP

There are people that take a cut to promote/make a deal from books, music, modeling, etc.
Negotiating a contract for someone isn't extortion.
What have you done that warrants respects and awe? If you were to pass away, we shouldn't offer condolences to your family? What a weird criterion..
what has he done that benefits you as supporter especially supporter of this club?
I wont bother if you didnt, we dont even know each other either. Also theres an agent and theres Mino. in what world should agent received 20 millions for brokering a deal? and what good hes done to you as supporter, particulary supporter of this club? lastly, will you be trully devastated when Joel passed away?
He doesn't need to have done anything for me, in order for me to offer condolences. What a weird requirement that is.
There's a difference between "being truly devastated" and offering sincere condolences. Raiola hasn't damaged this club in the way the Glazers have. He was just the recipient of millions the glazers and their minions decided to voluntarily throw at him.
In what world should Raiola have received 20 million for brokering a deal? In a world where both parties agree to it? It's not like he was forcing anybody to do business with him. His clients seemed to love it and were free to dump him at any time.
Raiola ran a good legitimate hustle. Respect.
How many Liverpool and City players are Raiola clients? Which of the world's best players are his? Haaland, and?? Don't tell me Zlatan, Pogba, Dumfries and Malen are in that category.I understand this is meant to be rhetorical but in no world should someone receive 20 million for effectively acting as a middle man. There’s has to be little skill to this job if Wanda Icardi is able to do it. What he created was a monopoly that forced negotiations by virtue of acquiring the worlds best players
and why did he get those top players? because they wanted the guy who'd get them the best deal: I wish I had and agent to do that for meI understand this is meant to be rhetorical but in no world should someone receive 20 million for effectively acting as a middle man. There’s has to be little skill to this job if Wanda Icardi is able to do it. What he created was a monopoly that forced negotiations by virtue of acquiring the worlds best players
RIP the agent GOAT.
The game lost a real one, clubs taking back abit more power now. Rightly or wrongly.
Not his biggest fan, but I wish him a speedy recovery.
Manchester City officials have visited Erling Haaland's agent, Mino Raiola in hospital to negotiate a deal for the Norway international, according to a new report from the Manchester Evening News.
Lingard and Pogba, I think.
