Mino Raiola coming out again with Pogba and why I don't care

Good riddance.

Wish SAF was here to flush the turd.
Beyond me how he can be so self-centered prima donna with nothing in his game to base it on.

The manager that brought him to the club after Sir Alex specifically said he wouldn't do any business regards Raiola ever again.

Sometimes you got to wonder if Mino Raiola enjoys being the most detested agent out there.... There cant be many clubs that enjoy dealing with him. That Pogba has had one foot out the door since January is quite obvious for everyone, but whining in the media gets you nowhere.
Longer than January. March 2019. As we fight for Champions League places he says playing for Real Madrid under returning manager Zinedine Zidane would be a "dream for anyone".

How much can we realistically get for him?

£60m+ and he's off, surely?

Id say around 40 ish. Maybe dig our heels for 50, although Ole will probably want him gone asap.

I think we should do a Ferguson and let him go cheap as a statement.

Again. Fekin again. Best part full interview will be released tomorrow, on a gameday..
I'm just saying for someone to say it was taken out of context.

The problem there is it sets a precedent for players who want out in the future, all they need to do is get their agent to repeatedly mouth off and they will be sold on the cheap thus potentially losing the club hundreds of millions over time.

At this point I’d rather Ole send him on the first plane home from Leipzig and let him rot in the reserves until his contract expires.

We’d be paying him to do nothing, but at least it shows we won’t be pushed around by players and their agents. I reckon we’d quickly see Raiola get someone to stump up the cash for him rather than see his prize asset out of the limelight for a lengthy amount of time.

I know right.

The best decent thing he can do is to consider the timing. Geez. Lack of respects for the club. Then again, he never had any.

What'll Pogba do about this? Nothing. Basically he's letting his mouthpiece be, running his mouth... could be even Pogba himself instigate it? Meh, who knows. All I know is that his other clients are not given this kind of special treatments. Only Pogba interestingly.

Such a shame really. His was probably the most exciting transfer in years when we got him. Look at what it's come to. Woeful form for over a year, most of which he was injured for, constantly talking about moving to Madrid, an agent that won't shut his mouth and disrespects the club and its fans unchecked, a disaster of a deal. I'd have hime gone ASAP. He'd be gone from the first team squad until January, then try to find a buyer. If no buyer, then he's a reserve team player until the summer. He should never play for us again.

Bruno has shown what a United player should be. Pogba is no longer needed. Ciao.

Trying to figure out how Raiola/Pogba gain anything from this. Imo its hard to see Pogba making financial gain, possibly Raiola can make more on a transfer than a new contract at United.

They have surely been negotiating a new contract for some time, there’s been quotes in the media even from Raiola. I do believe United (rightly) have offered no increased wage, or maybe even a wage reduction. This considering his performance since he signed, and COVID effect.

I understand Raiola/Pogba being dissatisfied with such an offer. However, i have ahard time seeing Pogba getting much of a wage increase elsewhere on top of a transfer fee.

So maybe Raiola’s plan is to increase the wage and agent fee by lowering the transfer fee? It makes me wonder though, if the club could not fine the player for having his agent making illoyal comments to the media, potentially affecting the clubs results. It would take a decent wage increase and contract length to make up a 4 weeks of wages fine...

Well this is just more contract play. As everything is with Raiola.

The big issue is that any contract extension for Paul includes a payraise. He's not done anyhing in 19/20 or 20/21 thus far that warrants more money than he is already on. So unless Pogba suddenly becomes Paul Pirlo, the club can't even entertain the possibility of improving his contract. He's been out nearly 1 season, then touch and go in this one.

Aye.

Here is where our manager is actually hamstrung in a way that no other big club manager has to deal with. At any other big club, Pogba would have sold and Bruno would have been bought last summer. Both of those processes being dragged out for much longer than necessary has hurt the club.

I have said it before, Jose used all those money we provided for him to create problem not to move us forward. Apart from Fred & Lindelof, all Jose’s signing including Pogba are being and about to be sold & replaced one by one.

no, he said it 2 days after his client scored a worldie
So? He scored a goal that if the camera had been set up in a slightly different position would have been disallowed. Who cares? This fat scum bag has been disrespecting our club for years now. feck them both.

Offer an astronomically expensive new, long-term contract to a player who’s been, more or less, rubbish ever since he joined the club? Not sure I follow your logic...

Where the club dropped a bollock was investing so much money on him in the first place. Throwing more money at the problem is not a solution.
My point was that there is going to be an endgame at some point. We either extended his contract, one or more party looks to engineer a move, or he runs down his contract. The club should be prepared for this and we as fans should be too.

As an aside, Pogba hasn’t been rubbish since he joined anyway. That’s some ridiculous hyperbole.

This is what Raiola does, we’ve been happy to use him when it suits us so you can’t complain when it goes against you. The Pogba situation shouldn’t have got to this stage and should have been resolved one way or another by now.

At some point? We’re in the end game now. As per his agent’s comments.

I did say “more or less” rubbish and based on the transfer fee, expectations and the whole of his United career to date I would say that’s a fair summation. Something that the impact of Bruno (who is bringing to the team almost exactly what we hoped Pogba could bring) is making painfully clear.

The way Pogba and his agent act is a shame. The sooner he lives, the better.

We’ve got Donny and Bruno, buy a midfielder that would compliment those 2 players and work from there.

I don’t give 2 shits about Pogba leaving

Couldnt care less about him leaving. I wouldnt play him any more either if hes so unhappy. Let him waste away, he probably be delighted anyway.

Some other club can take him and deal with his BS.

Dont see what going to Madrid does for him, they are far worse than us this season, and need a massive rebuild by the looks of it.

Raiola wouldn't come out with these comments on his own.

Highly disappointing considering the timing.

I'm pass caring but lived long enough to know that there are always two sides to the story. I have know idea any more than anyone else but I suspect everyone knows he going, Utd know it and his agent is using this as platform to raise his profile (again). He will play tomorrow and for the rest of the season. It changes nothing....

it would be a shame to make him play if he cant express himself n stuff

Surely the only club that can buy him is PSG? Aren't basically every other major club pretty skint at the moment due to covid? Madrid, Juve, Barca?

No way he moves in the Prem.

I find the whole thing really sad, he could have been such a player for us, but just didn't end up happening the way any of us wanted, except perhaps Raoila who of course gets one more big pay day out of Pogba. Not like he needs any more money!

I'd love us to get a nice DLP in. Doesn't even need to be Pirlo level, Carrick level would be just fine. Not so many around at the moment though.
