Mino Raiola coming out again with Pogba and why I don't care

The PogbaUnited lovestory is like a house of cards, with everyone with his knives out ready to pounce. Hopefully we have No Surprises from now onwards from that creep Raiola.
Very good, some of our fans have turned into Paranoid Androids, he's acted like a subterranean homesick alien since he got here. He's let down us but maybe he'll be fitter happier elsewhere. We can play the exit music (for a film) when he leaves.

I was really glad to read his comments. I hope this time it’s for real. Paul is not fit for us. Let him go to Madrid. Better for everyone. I’m sick of all the Pogba uncertainties. After all, he is turning into more of a back up player.

Well this is just more contract play. As everything is with Raiola.

The big issue is that any contract extension for Paul includes a payraise. He's not done anyhing in 19/20 or 20/21 thus far that warrants more money than he is already on. So unless Pogba suddenly becomes Paul Pirlo, the club can't even entertain the possibility of improving his contract. He's been out nearly 1 season, then touch and go in this one.

Once Pogba’s gone we need to implement a club policy to never work with Raiola again. He’s a parasite. If it means missing out on Haaland then so be it.

Tutto sport is a rag. However I do believe that Pogba wants to leave and that his antics (ie constantly being 'injured' and all that) are result to that. We should get rid off him and we should never sign a Mino's client ever again.

At what point does breaking the bank for Mbappe become better value than going for Haaland?

Consider how shit he has been season so far, soon as he scores one goal again he's evidently back to being centre of the universe

Probably best for all parties for him to move on. We’ve not matched his ambition and he hasn’t lived up to his price tag.

Ridiculous for Raiola to announce this before the biggest game of the season though.

I honestly doubt anyone is going to pay him what we pay him. But if they do more fool them. He'd be great in a team built round him but is he good enough to build a team around. Probably not in Spain England or Germany

Well, the last time he did it, we won. And if we lose tomorrow, he'll be easy to blame.

Most misunderstood agent in professional sports history?

Sooner the better. Good riddance. He’s been shite for us overall

We need to know if the Numbers, Raiola is talking about before we Burn that witch. I better (Ful) Stop cause I think I m Dayreaming.

Maybe we shouldn't target either of them. I find it hard to believe we will get Haaland anyway and something needs to be done about Raiola and the likes, so I would support the club boycotting him. Being humiliated by a football agent and his lazy primadonna star player is below our dignity.

Are you a United fan? He’s come out & said one of our players is leaving the day before the 2 biggest games of the session so far. Shocking lack of respect for the club & the fans.
no, he said it 2 days after his client scored a worldie

I keep reading about his ambition - what about him shows ambition? His relentless work ethic? His Roy Keane-like focus on winning? You're right - he hasn't lived up to his price tag, and he has no one to blame but himself.

No I'ved just posted 17,000 times because I have nothing better to do
   classic

yeah, but thats the clubs fault for not selling when they could have got a reasonable price for him

When exactly could we have got a reasonable price for him? The only person that ever expressed an interest in him in his time here has been Zidane but Perez made it clear he's not paying good money for Pogba.

According to my google search Mbappe is represented by relatives, I don't know what they're like but I imagine they'll be less of a nuisance than Raiola. I don't know if Mbappe has any appetite to come to a United team which is barely challenging for titles. He is however on a par with Haaland, maybe better, maybe worse but you're not losing or gaining much if you pick one over the other.

Obviously I would like to see United get a top striker if possible, at least until Greenwood can lead the line and if he can't at least we'll have someone who can.

Too much fuss about Pogba by people who are not fussed about him.

If he goes, he goes. If he stays, he stays. Can't watch every tweet/comment about him and get riled up about it.

Raiola is a tw*t. Also, great timing, Pogba has just come out of a really good performance. That sort of statement can only be designed to leverage more $$$ as it will annoy fans, owners, manager etc...

So much effort and didn't even provide what Raiola said. That, and we don't even know if the quote is true, as we can't trust what that cnut Romano these days.

That being said, if it is true, then I think for Pogba and our sake, it would be best if he left in the summer.

He's a terrific player and although it hasn't always worked for us, it doesn't necessarily mean it'd be the same elsewhere.

If we sell him in the summer, then priority should be on purchasing a deep-lying playmaker to partner Fred/McTominay.

I am truly amazed how so many United fans get hot under the collar about the utterings of Pogba's agent, and indeed some of Paul's own offerings. Whilst I believe that on his day Paul Pogba is a world beater, I also believe those days have become increasingly less, even before he came back to OT. I suspect that both Paul and his agent have begun to realize his 'days in the sun' are getting less, and even that some of his best days may now, as strange as it may sound, be already behind Paul. Its not an 'age thing', it is I feel a 'staleness thing', his physical prowess is declining, he is getting caught in possession much more and even getting 'muscled out' of possession, something that use to happen only once every 'Preston Guild' (look it up if you are not sure what I am referring to!)

Whilst Paul's total contribution at West Ham was half decent, his impact as a WC player only came to full effect when he was surrounded by the likes of Bruno and Rashford. Pogba did put in a lot of effort on Saturday, at least by his own sometimes woeful standards, but there were instances of loss of control, getting caught out of position and caught in possession, and even worse, occasionally Paul found himself going in the wrong direction, i.e. totally misreading the play! Some of these were minor things, maybe some might say it's because he has not been playing regularly, 'he's a bit rusty' etc. However I have followed Pogba's career, ever since he arrived as a lanky 16 year old at OT, for me he is now exhibiting little mistakes, little slips, lack of concentration/attention to detail, things he would never have made mistakes about, even in his youth.

Age wise and career wise Pogba should be about to enter his prime, but he's not, his agent is having to work overtime with his utterances to keep him anywhere near the headlines. This at a time when hardly any fans are able to watch live football in flesh, Paul is struggling to make an impact and to identify (for others) a 'gap' on the field, when he's not present. At one time the thought of leaving out a fully fit Pogba was something Ole, indeed other managers, would never have considered... but Ole has now been doing just that!

Shame as VDB agent is shopping him around as well. Bruno another which isn't happy with the way things are run/tactics.

Thank God for that. Now at last I hope we can end this never ending saga of Pogba. Let him go in January. But who would be foolish enough to buy him for anything decent? Maybe Zidane now that he is in a bit of a bother? Unlike in the past we should approach Real Madrid and tell him he is available.

really good performance ?

Apart from the goal I thought he was terrible on saturday

Pogba has just come out of a really good performance.

Not really. The midfield, in which he was supposed to be the star performer, got overrun and could not start an attack if their lives depended on it in the first half. Scoring a goal after actually good players enter the field does not constitute "a really good performance". Good riddance.

Ridiculous to believe it and get all worked up for the millionth time since he has been here

What are you going on about

Pogba needs to go and play in an easier league in a dominant team. He will enjoy himself with a neymar like arrangement, top man, no need to worry about the team just do what he wants to do at any time

Madrid not the right place for him as he wont find himself in the team for tough games, especially if poch takes over

Imagine never having to read another “Pogba is unhappy and wants to leave” story ever again. Wouldn’t that be wonderful.

that's why we have to offer a new improved contract to Bruno to keep him here, amirite? Keep it between us though. :touches nose:
