Not to be a killjoy here as everything indicates that the lads are having on hell of a tournament - but the results in this years tournament makes you wonder if the quality of the opponents is good enough. We have 19-2 in goal difference at the moment and apparently only had one really hard game (against the russians).
But I watch like one game each season from this tournament - so to those of you watching more regularly, how is the competition ? Are we good, are they poor - or something in-betwee ?

We're very good, they're nowhere near the same level. Unfortunately with youth football in the state it is, you take whatever games you can get. It's only really a pre-season for us, after all.

This crop is the core of the group that finished 2nd in Marveld 2 years back, plus the addition of Gribbin who didn't play in Marveld,Thompson,Obi and Borg.It's not a surprise that we reach final this year that easily.
Looking at the Table, there seem to be some decent pedigree'd academies -
Not the best but nothing that bad either. Though format depends on luck of draw a bit as well.
How highly is ogo obi rated? Cracking name. Havent really followed the U-18s since the disappointment of the pogba,morrison generation.
Vendee in the final should be a test, it seems.

This one will stomp regular watchers of the u18s as well. He isn't a United player, he's a trialist from Watford, but apparently he's quite highly rated and seems to have done well enough in the Milk Cup so far.

Aaah, hope we sign him then. I think we need a striker for the academy/reserve anyway as wilson/henriquez/keane will either move up or leave within a year or two.

This keeper Henderson seemingly has something about him, consistently excellent starting position thus far.
Bit of a sloppy disjointed performance so far.
Have had the better chances still, but need to up the game particularly in the midfield combo.

How's Williams played in this tourney, He's England captain isn't he?
Need to play with more width IMO.It was very dense in midfield.Gribbin and Thompson can't really find space or their team mates.
The 7 is drifting all over the place, Borg (who is rapid) seems to be holding the width on his side though.
