There is too much speculation about this move. We need David Gill to come out and confirm that a deal is being worked on. This uncertainty is making us all nervous.
Kleenex In Bid To Become New sponsor of Manchester United
Reuters, 08 June 2008
Manchester, England
In what has already been a fascinating week of transfer speculation, one rumour has sparked Kleenex to enter the race to become not only John Terry's but Manchester Uniteds new sponsor - the reason? A simple slogan concerning the Brazilian superstar who has been much linked to the Champion's League winners United, should the deal go through (at the expense of AIG's multi-million pound endorsement) Uniteds famous red shirt could soon say:
Kleenex, a soft way to wipe away any Kaka.

EXCLUSIVE: Kaka in Manchester; Ronaldo Speculation a Smokescreen
Kaka's projected move to Manchester United from AC Milan gathered further momentum when it was revealed that the real reasons behind his exclusion from the Brazilian squad was not due to injury but because he will be in Manchester over the next few days finalizing personal terms with the European Champions.
Dunga, the Brazilian coach, has excluded Kaka from the Brazilian squad for upcoming World Cup qualifying games against Paraguay and Argentina. The Rossoneri star is reportedly recovering from having arthroscopic knee surgery in Rio de Janeiro on May 23.
"We decided to spare the player, who is recovering," Dunga said. "His participation in those two games would be premature."
However insider sources in the Brazilian camp reveal that the real reason behind Kaka's exclusion was that he will be in Manchester over the next few days finalising personal terms and would miss the first Brazilian training session which has angered Brazilian coach Dunga.
This news will no doubt anger a Milan board whose hands are already full trying to negotiate a deal with UEFA that will allow them to participate in next seasons Champions League.
Meanwhile insiders at United are still confident that Ronaldo will be staying at United for many years to come. In fact a source close to Old Trafford says that Ronaldo has been instructed to create this transfer speculation as Sir Alex Ferguson wants to use it as a smokescreen in his attempts to sign Kaka. "Basically Ronnie has been told to create the Madrid stories and feed the media because it will divert the attention away from our projected move. Sir Alex knows it's difficult for United fans but is confident signing Kaka will be more than make up for it.", the insider revealed.
And the move seems to have worked with very few media sites picking up the story but that will all change over the next few days.

I really don't know where he'll fit in as long as Scholes still is in the game. Our lineup could potentially end up with Rooney, Tevez and Berbatov up front, Kaka, Scholes, Carrick, Fletcher and Anderson in the attacking midfield role, and Ronaldo, Nani, Giggs, Park on the flanks. We wouldn't play Kaka in the second striker role since it's inhabited by Rooney and Tevez, and playing Kaka regularly would make Scholes an unnecessity having Anderson already. Anyone know if Kaka could be comfortable on the wing?
Rooney - Benzema
Kaka - Carrick - Anderson - Ronaldo
Anyhow, expect alot of positional interchanging if we get the likes of Kaka and get to keep Ronaldo.

Manchester United have sensationally agreed a £35 million deal for Brazillian playmaker Kaka. The AC Milan star and current European footballer of the year appears close to a move to the newly crowned European champions after United's latest bid was accepted by the Milan club. It is believed that the deal may rise to £40 million over the next 4 years, dependant on appearances.
It appears that Milan's decision to part with their star man was due to Carlo Ancelotti, the Milan coach's desire to revamp his squad following a disastrous season which has seen Milan fail to qualify for next season's champions league. Milan's failure to feature amongst Europe's elite next season has resulted in an estimated £20 million loss, including TV bonusses. As a result, Ancelotti has seen his desire to add Chelsea's Didier Drogba and disillusioned Brazillian samba star Ronaldinho to his squad's roster challenged by the money men of Milan. In a bid to strengthen his squad with the aforementioned players while balancing the books, the sale of Kaka appears to be the best solution to Milan's woes.
Kaka, currently on holiday in his native Brazil, is scheduled to arrive in Manchester next week to discuss personal terms and undergo a medical examination at the Old Trafford club. One stumbling block could be Kaka's massive wages, believed to me in the region of £150,000 per week at Milan. United are reluctant to break their current wage structure, a stand that has also seen current United star Cristiano Ronaldo being tempted into a move to Real Madrid. While Kaka's wage demands appear to be a big stumbling block, it is expected that United will be able to secure the 26 year old's services without breaking their current wage structure. It is believed that David Gill, United's chief executive, will attempt to maintain United's wage structure by structuring a package of £120,000 for Kaka, with further remuneration based on goals, assists and other performance based bonuses.
While the biggest story of the summer has been Real Madrid and Cristiano Ronaldo's courting of each other, it may work in United's favour, with the acquisition of Kaka seemingly being sealed without significant attention and coverage of the media. It is believed that United will attempt to keep hold of Cristiano Ronaldo despite the signing of Kaka, and will attempt to balance the books by the sale of fringe players Louis Saha, Mikael Silvestre, Park Ji Sung and John O'shea.
