We've made it onto the TheSun

MANCHESTER UNITED held talks with Kaka yesterday over a sensational summer move.

The Brazilian’s representatives met United to discuss personal terms which would total £35million in wages alone.

A source close to the AC Milan superstar confirmed: “It was a very positive meeting, although nothing was agreed.

“The player wants a five-year contract and wages of £135,000 a week. He is very keen to join United and these are figures that are within United’s pay structure. It’s up to them what happens now.”

The talks did not involve any discussion about a transfer fee but Milan expect to get at least £70m for their star player.

The big question now is how United will find the cash — and whether they will sell Cristiano Ronaldo in the summer to Real Madrid.

Kaka, 27, has already spoken of his affinity for United, saying: “They have some great players in Giggs and Scholes and especially Wayne Rooney.

“One of my best friends, Anderson, is also there — how can anyone say no?

“They are the English and European champions and a great club to play for.”

I love the way Custis uses all that filler from a "source". It really does expose him for the lying tosser he really is.

And that's the point of the whole thing. Papers only care about selling papers. That's it. I don't think we could've been anymore blatant. . .I even said in the Ronaldo thread that we should do our own Kaka rumours, but it didn't stop them from lifting it.

:lol::lol::lol::lol:

Christ on a bike! Well done to all those involved, legendary stuff

Thing is if these journos had actually read the rest of this thread, they'd have found out it wasn't true. But I guess made up news is better than no news.

I wouldn't be surprised if one of the broadsheets picked up on this scam to have a dig at the tabloids. Redcafe changing media's role in society...

If Welbeck scores an important goal in the run-in, his love for Manilow will be all over the press. They'll probably also be linking Ljajic to various male models once he gets his debut.

It has always been blatantly obvious, even in that Ronaldo thread, Smithy. It was just a pisstake out of that supposed interview Ronaldo had given to a Brazilian website.

Kaka to United made SSN - On the back pages segment. Not sure what paper it was, though.

think it was thesun.

 @ all of this. Its so damn pathetic (well hilarious actually) but genius really. Good work here. This forum does indeed rule.

Priceless. If ever anybody needed convincing that the media will print/run a story with little evidence then this will surely put that to rest.

Someone needs to create a 'FAO' thread incase they've not seen this

Absolute top class...you've just started a rumour that will be circulating around Europe ffs. fecking hell, this place is just brilliant.

I saw this thread and I thought it was going to be about Pato. Now way we'll ever get Kaka. We would not pay the money.

fecking hell! Fan Blogs/goal.com/tribal is one thing but the caf influencing actual newspapers is quite another

It was just a bump?

They didn't even check the post date?

Just brilliant.

It was probably due to it being quoted by the Mail. Note that the quotes in the Sun and Mail are the same, but slightly different to the ones on here.

the whole "Meeting" thing isnt taken from what has been posted here tho, just the quotes at the end of the article

Cant believe were getting Kaka!....oh wait.

Redcafe should get some recognition for this exposing the lazy journalism we have to put up with. how embarrasing for them all:lol:

In a few days saf will come out and say ''I dont know where this story came from but it aint true'' we know where it came from.
