"the terms as I heard, were....."

you heard that from Fergie himself or one of the Glazers just happened to mention it to you?

Why don't you just say "I read on Tribal Football" (Sun/Mirror or other trash wherever applicable)

muppetry is rampant.

I bet this wanker will regret even more now:

I for one doubt if Kaka will ever play for us and I really dont know where this is coming from

For the easily amused, who enjoy the difference in spin between the different slices of the international press.

In English:
http://www.goal.com/en-us/news/86/i...s-out-real-madrid-and-manchester-united-again
“I have already said and already shown that I am committed to this club so there is nothing else to add,” Kaka told the Italian media.

“I truly enjoy myself at San Siro and I am happy with the support I receive here,” he concluded.

Or in Spanish:
http://www.defensacentral.com/real_madrid/27373/kaka-real-madrid-ac-milan-futbol
"Madrid is a magnificent club with great players."
and
"It's difficult to talk about the future in football, I can only restate that at the moment, I'm happy to be in this team and want to remain here for longer."

Both of them are translations from an article in Italian - they both picked their favourites bits to tell the story.

One of the other Spanish papers also carried an item last week in which Kaka talks about Milan giving him permission to talk to City - but that he thought he could win more with Milan, which was why it was essential that he stayed.

It's not so much reporting as tealeaf reading.

:lol::lol::lol:

Its back on again

Kaka, who has also interested Chelsea in the past, has previously spoken of his desire to one day play in England. And there are reports of a radio interview that he gave last summer talking in gushing terms about United.

He apparently said: 'United have some great players in (Ryan) Giggs and (Paul) Scholes and especially Wayne Rooney.

'One of my best friends, Anderson, is also there, how can anyone say no? They are the English and European Champions and a great club to play for.'

Cafca still going strong !

This has to be one of the best moment in RedCafe's history.

Has anyone tipped off the Mail's rivals yet? DAILY MAIL SPOO(N/F)ED BY BEARDED INTERNET WEIRDO should be a headline somewhere.

It's in the Braziilian press now:
http://globoesporte.globo.com/Espor...CHESTER+PODE+OFERECER+R+MILHOES+POR+KAKA.html

Spoony fabricated a story, now Daily Mail are using Kaka's quotes from it.

Did he send the story to them or did they read it from here and use it, that would be news worthy itself and bad press indeed for the newspaper.

I made up this story in the massive Ronaldo thread. Spoony then created this thread, thick journos read it and the rest is history.

Basically, the point I was trying to make was that we shouldn't believe everything written in the press(ronaldo's Brazilian website interview?!). It was blatant that I wanted to create my own Kaka rumours. In fact I started them in the Ronaldo thread, I think I mentioned something about KEY 103 running a KAKA to United story. . . PSmith then wrote the story and I started a new thread. To be fair, a few people PM'd me, but I went with Psmith's. . .and it took off and went mental. The Daily Mail clearly used the quotes after I bumped this thread.

Anyway, watch this space. . . we've got something better planned.

PS I think a couple of posters linked it to NewsNow.
