He's better than Mkhi and Mata in my opinion when he can be bothered. If he moves here, hopefully it's a new motivation for him and he can play like he always does for Germany

I don't see anything in this, if anything it's the desire of the player as opposed to something on our side. I don't think he's a significant enough upgrade on the likes of Mkhitaryan to warrant signing, even if it is for free. Griezmann makes a lot more sense if we're going for a player in that sort of position as he's more of a game changer. Years ago I would have been all over signing this man, but the ship has sailed and I don't really see the point of getting him at this stage.
I'd go for it personally, lets not forget that this guy is a fixture of a very successful German national team. I think his reputation has suffered because he's playing for a fundamentally flawed Arsenal team which is playing in front of an extremely volatile fan base who are viewing their players under the most critical gaze.

On a free it would be a no-brainer really given his ability + good relationship with the manager, he's miles better than Mata so could comfortably take his role on the right side.
If he returns to his form under Mourinho at Real Madrid then sure but not the lazy git that always goes missing in the big games at Arsenal.

I can actually see this happening mainly because Mourinho's hatred for Wenger. He might see it as an opportunity to get one over him if Ozil can display the form he showed at Madrid. It makes sense because Ozil is more creative than someone like Mkhitaryan and a lot stronger than Mata. The great thing about it is that he is free so we would still be able to make another big money signing like Griezmann as well.

Özil assistes or scored 48% of all Arsenal goals against the Top 5 in the PL (since he is here). The problem is that we/Arsenal are shit against the top 5 PL clubs.

I would take him. He'd rattle assists in with the movement of Lukaku, Martial and Rashford. He's playing in a disfunctional Arsenal side, no-one looks good there bar Sanchez who tries to do everything himself.

He'll be commanding 250k on wages. No thank you. He'll be 30 soon and we don't really need him. Sanchez is more the person we need from Arsenal. And before everyone keeps saying that Mourinho go the best out of him, Ozil had much better players at Real with a potent goal scorer like CR7 in front of him. He wouldn't thrive in the current Mourinho system. And we also have Mhiki and Mata
