Lost his light sabre
Him or Bakkali would be a good one for the future. No a biggest priority but we could use more of based on agility, attacking style winger.
Yeah, kinda feels like situation with Daley Blind... we can definitely aim higher than them but it wouldn't be a tragic plan B.Depay is a few levels below what's ideal and Bakkali is more than likely worse. I hope we get someone better.
Rafinha's not a winger, played central for Celta for the most part and that's where his best position is, he'd be a good option for our midfield.
That's to some extent true, he's also played a fair bit wide and hasn't been any worse there.
Either way I'd take him here in a heartbeat, seems to have a bit of everything in his game and has excelled in a deeper midfield role so he'd be great. Can't see Barca letting him go though.
Our current plan A is worse than tragic. We need better quality for the first XI AND bench on the wingsYeah, kinda feels like situation with Daley Blind... we can definitely aim higher than them but it wouldn't be a tragic plan B.
Memphis would be a really good buy. I think he is the best young talent in HollandMemphis is more than good enough.
Are you sure you're watching the right player? He has a petulant attitude and he acts as though he is superior and the finished article in comparison to others. There was a reason he was dropped from the PSV team toward the latter stages of the season. He is still really young and very talented, but 'fantastic attitude' is not how he should be described.Bakkali has more ability than Adnan and was higher rated as a youth product, he wa sthe player we really wanted when we got Perriera. He would be a great signing has fantastic attitude too, real hunger to make it.

Yeah. Fair enough in that sense, but that's the mentality of almost every young player. I wouldn't necessarily say that was a redeemable trait he possesses. No as in he wants to make it, we're talking about Bakkali right?

Not sure how you can say he has more ability than Adnan considering shooting is probably the only thing hes better at. Also not sure where you've gotten that he was the player we really wanted when we got Pereira considering we offered Pereira a deal as soon as we saw him in the Nike cup. We also invited Bakkali over to visit United at the same time but he didn't come. The main reason Bakkali was so highly rated as a youth product was because he was player of the tournament at the Nike cup which the papers then claimed meant he had been voted the best young player in the world. Don't get me wrong Bakkali has a huge amount of talent and has the potential to be one of the best in the world but apart from a few games at the start of the season his performances haven't come close to matching his hype and unless he improves his attitude and grows up a bit hes unlikely to meet his potential.Bakkali has more ability than Adnan and was higher rated as a youth product, he wa sthe player we really wanted when we got Perriera. The thing is, no one knows what names are on a wish list but it feels like few things changed in the run and probably will dynamically change before, during and after the World Cup.Our current plan A is worse than tragic. We need better quality for the first XI AND bench on the wings
Holland must be going through a bad spell generation-wise.
Whilst it's really a mini ad for Addidas it's good in giving an idea of the lads character.Read that entire article and he sounds so much like a young Ronaldo its untrue. Obviously the main thing with Ronaldo is that he is a perfectionist and true professional in the way he conducts himself in training with a view to improving himself.
Depay could go one of two ways in my opinion. There is the Ronaldo route where he continues to improve to the point of becoming a world class player, or could end up like Nani where he continues to irritate due to a high level of inconsistency.
In my opinion for the quoted prices he is worth the risk and we are as good as any big club at nurturing young talent.
He looks good. Let's sign him.
Sign him up please. It's no coincidence that when he came into the game, the Dutch started to play with more bite on their attack.
More than Fergie saw of Bebe?Excepting the past 20 minutes and YouTube, how much have either of you seen him play?
More than Fergie saw of Bebe?
I wasn't being serious, I bumped it because we've been linked with him.The difference being he was Fergie, not some random transfer muppets from planet internet.

Not much tbh but he has certain intangibles that jump out to me. Do the 'eyeball test', let your eyes tell you whether he could have a bright future or not. I think the only drawback to him is an immaturity problem but under van Gaal that wouldn't be an issue.Excepting the past 20 minutes and YouTube, how much have either of you seen him play?

He does remind me of Nani but the key difference here is that Depay is only 20. A lot of years and room to develop and reach his ceiling. Nani is who he is already. He looks a bit like a Dutch version of Nani to me.
Why does it matter where they come from? RacistThe difference being he was Fergie, not some random transfer muppets from planet internet.
