You aren't but the post you quoted was me replying to someone who was.
Granted - but I was only responding to the section I highlighted. You'll have to forgive me, that being my wheelhouse I get sick of the 'but I have an advisor who deals with that' defense. It's crap.

Weigh in.

Oh, and for singing, there's only one winner.

Everyone tuned into Sky Sports News then?

Any good betting tips for this fight?

I never really watch boxing so I don't really know how this fight will go, but I'm gonna watch this one.

So might as well make it more interesting for me with a cheeky bet.

All of the good odds seem to be Mayweather to win in a specific round.

That's probably because he's expected to win via decision rather than KO.

That's because Mayweather has no chance of winning by KO. Hatton is Mayweather's only legit KO in the last decade.

I figured you were talking about fitness since it (for me) is implied with the word athlete; which i found insanely unlikely.

Try a three minute round of sparring and you will soon change your mind on that. FWIW a study found gymnasts to be the all round fittest athletes.

This is from Scott Quigg's wiki about his fitness being tested at the University of Salford.

'Bury's Quigg (24-0-1) spent a day with his strength and conditioning coach Ric Moylan University of Salford, Human Performance Laboratory. The results left professionals in that field amazed as the British champ flew through the assessments. Moylan revealed: "When it came to fitness levels, Scott was up there with elite endurance athletes like Sir Chris Hoy and Mo Farah. I have been involved with professional sportsmen for 15 years and Scott is one of the fittest guys I have ever seen. He did fitness, performance and endurance tests, blood analysis, and urine tests, but Scott's determination was equally as impressive as his world class fitness.'

That's not too surprising. Those guys and gals are incredible.

Change my mind on what? I wasn't disputing that boxers were in great shape or great athletes.
I said i don't think a boxer is the number one athlete (in terms of fitness) in the world.

Wouldn't rule out a late stoppage from Floyd, although it is improbable. Maybe put a quid on a round 10 stoppage and a quid on a round 11 stoppage.

Interestingly since the betting markets opened, Floyd's odds of winning the fight have gone down. Also, a draw started at around 22/1-25/1 and now it's as likely as 14/1 (which is remarkable for any fight). Conspiracy theorist in me says that the judges will make it a draw so they can do it all again in September.

A dodgy decision, sadly, just makes too much financial sense. I can see an injustice of somekind tomorrow.

I wonder if Arum will reveal the 'surprise sponsor' tonight

I think we could see a bit of a confrontation between Mayweather Sr. and Roach tonight.

If there was ever a man I would love to see get KTFO, it would be Mayweather Sr  The guy is nuts as feck!

Sugar Ray Leonard gave him a pasting in his boxing career here. 35th minute for the flurry that forced the stoppage.

A controversial decision of any kind is great for them because it means $$$$$ in a rematch.

Potentially terrible for the future of the sport, though. Hundreds of thousands of new boxing fans could be made or lost for life tomorrow night. If even they can call a terrible decision, I doubt they'll be back.

Pacquiao to win the first three rounds seems a good bet IMO.

Draw at 16/1 is not bad.

Max is the cnut who talks too much. Never liked him.

Should be watching the HBO stream :p Better interviews & no chat.

I put £10 on a Pac KO in the third, highly unlikely but I only like bets that I am really going to enjoy winning. I will get £520 back if I win. I rarely gamble for this reason.

I think there were good odds on Pac to win the first 3 rounds earlier in the week. Was 12/1, I think. May have even been better.

That the sky presenter just then?

The way he stared into the camera as it went to ads scared me.

No. The HBO reporter who just interviewed Freddie Roach.

If Jim Watt pisses you off, here's the HBO live stream:

What are people planning for tomorrow night then?

Afternoon nap so you stay awake til it starts? Sleep around midnight and set an alarm? Just power through? Red Bull?

Floyd to win on points is the logical bet. Short odds though.

I'd love Manny to knock his head off but Floyd is winning this on points I think. It's interesting to hear Floyd Snr talk about Pacquiao not recovering from that knockout by JMM. I reckon that moment actually had a huge bearing on Floyd deciding to take the fight. What's funny is I think that Manny was stupid that night, he seemed on a mission to finish JMM and ended up walking into that shot. Maybe he felt the first round had damaged JMM sufficiently and got a little cocky. I can't see him being as stupid against Floyd.

I think you have to hurt Floyd early to have any hope because he always takes over in the later rounds. It's improbable that Manny can finish him but not impossible. Either way they still go down as the best fighters of the last 10 years, now just to decide whose the best.
