Living in Manchester you could live in a huge house/mansion with those wages. In Barcelona, the house prices are quite high so would end up in a 3 bed cottage/villa. Manchester is the one..

Romero is super reliable for Barcelona (tier 1). If he's backing up the article and saying De Ligt is close to United then there's something in it.
 
I'm going to say it but we're getting fleeced by the sounds of it. All year banging on about wanting players that genuinely want to play for us and give their all and we're pushing hard for a 19 year old CB that turned down £250k p/w. Must really want to sign for us!

People are so fickle. Thought we'd have learnt after Sanchez. What's they old saying "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice...".
 
I am not even nervous….I am still 99% certain he wont join us. And if I am wrong - it will be the best wrong I have ever been :)
 
This would eclipse the surprise of the Pogba transfer for me. I still don’t have a clue why he would actually come here over Barca though.

Okay cheers. Agreed, I think de Ligt would be an ideal signing for United. But, bar money I just can't see the appeal in joining us over Barcelona currently.

Was reading the barca forum. They are saying this guy is more reliable than the Romero fella

De Ligt is young and special, Sanchez although we thought would be great at the time was still unfortunately neither.
