He wont join liverpool..chill
Relegating Matip to the bench is a great way of adding depth.
Be a miracle if we get him.
It's on: https://www.fifatms.com/itms/worldwide-transfer-windows-calendar/
The Fifa TMS system date for Netherlands and England open on 11 June. For Spain 1st July, so if he signs for us it will have to be after 11 June, if nothing happens fora number of days after that, he is going Barca, they have around a month to work on his transfer if he is going there. But I think he is hinting about the transfer system dates and maybe also that we are doing earlier preseason than Barca? And he wants to join sooner to his new club.
I think he's made his choice already and it's Barcelona. I reckon he is just toying with the media they way they have toyed with him over the last 2 months. I would love to be wrong and hope he will sign for us.I hope this is not it one of the transfer sagas that last the whole summer . If he doesn't accept our offer by end of next week we need to publicly move on. We can't waste a full summer waiting for one guy. There are other options and other positions that we need to focus on especially in midfield.

Our priority this sumer should be defence, if we start with young Jones and smalling as our main defenders I expect a difficult season ahead.
I read it yesterday in the mirror I think it was.Did Mark Ogden just say this now or was this his view 2 months ago?
We are getting used to being the last paragraphYep, this tends to be forgotten. And although it was just one game, it also the case that so far he's only played in one of Europe's weaker leagues, so I tend to think that the potential transfer fees and wages being bandied for him are based on somewhat shaky foundations.
Any buying club will need to be careful they don't end up with an over-priced player that they won't later be able to shift.
Solid reasoning. Omg omg omg he was in a game that was LOST ladies and gentlemen. Should stay at Ajax really.

Edit: Just went on newsnow and the Express have it as well.

What?
1. Lost to Spurs. Spurs! 2. Played in the Mickey Mouse League 3. Demands high wages.
Why would anyone want this player. Can possibly redeem himself by signing an extension.
He's an Ajax fan, I feel like he's joking because he doesn't want De Ligt to leave. Are you drunk pal?

Think it was in response to Glaston's post quoted above.Hmm, ok. Although his first post certainly reads like he’s responding to something?

Ahhhhh... that’ll do it with me having the borefest that is Glaston on ignore.
You can sign player any time. It's just registration window. Madrid signed Militao 2-3 months back, he will be registered when the window opens.
If DeLigt decides he can sign for any club today.
De Ligt could still be wanting the Barca move but sees his friend De Jong (a little older) getting around 300k and wants something similar.
Barca (and Nike allegedly) had to pay that to beat City and PSG but you can't have every young promising player on these wages and their wage bill is very high already.
What's funny is this sporting project nonsense. They conveniently forget that De Jong didn't snub other clubs to join Barca on lower wages.
"I've decided to sign for the Champions League winners"...
Please, anything but that.
Yeah, it would be different if you were at the end of your career. With time on your side, you can really make a club your success.I genuinely don't get why anyone would want to sign for the team that's just won the CL over their competitors. wouldn't you want to come in and help your new team make the step from contending (semifinals/finals) to actually winning rather than just tagging onto a team that might well even have lost their hunger a little?
And Nike?
What?
Paying a part of his wages.

Mentions 11 June Here also, last year the date was 8 June and we signed Dalot. I reckon we have another 10 days of rumours to go before we have anything locked down.
Agreed. You literally cannot believe a word you read nowadays, yet we still get caught up in it all.So if Ogden knows this, do Barca not know that De Ligt only wants to play for them as well? So why all the posturing?
Clearly not as obvious as he's making it out to be.
At most, they might advised he's brand would be more valuable if he went there and offered to give him a raise on their contract. But yeah, they ain't paying any part of his €16m a year contractThis is one of those urban myths.
Big business doesn't pay wages or fees in transfers.
I remember nike were going to be paying for ronaldo if he came back to us. It's garb
Don't worry, you won't.
Although Spurs getting into the CL final is a miracle as well, so who knows.
LvG thinks De Ligt should go to City. Cheers Louis.
I fully understand you....would you recommend a club, whose only interest is exclusively financial performance, to a friend who wants to fulfill his footballing potential ?To be fair, he's a Dutchman who wants to see De Ligt's talents fulfilled. United has been a pit of stagnation since Fergie left, and I as a Noggy wouldn't want, say, Ødegaard to come here, so I can totally see why LvG would say that. That's even neverminding the fact that the way he was fired was disrespectfully as feck.

Why in the hell should Ødegaard not come to us?
Because it’s hard enough to get enough minutes and to fulfill your potential in the first place. Add to that that we have no idea whether we’ll have the same manager for all of next season, the pressures of playing for United who everyone wants to see go down in flames, and a player group devoid of true leadership, and I reckon Ødegaard wouldn’t even need to feck up for his stay here to be detrimental to his development.
We’re too shaky, and Norway never gets talents like this one.
If I have to endure a season of United wobbling, Ole getting fired, and Ødegaard being relegated to reserves, I might bloody top myself.

LVG is massively sour against united (Woodward mainly) in the way he got fired. I don’t blame him but why he’s so personal against the club is crazy. To be fair, he's a Dutchman who wants to see De Ligt's talents fulfilled.
