Would make sense about the reports of the agents wanting a bit more money form Barca as he's become more high profile with that great Ajax run in the CL.

In one hand I can see United still being attractive of course. He could be a fan of the PL, I find La Liga and the Barca Madrid thing quite nauseating, he could've watched Rio and Vidic and VDS and RVP, he's very young and could get a lot of valuable experience even if things don't go well but we're in disarray and have an unknown quantity in Ole.

It's odd how Ballbag says we're not in the equation and brings up Juve, I don't think so but can see Bayern being attractive for De Ligt and them finally spending big money this summer. Then you have the sensible PL option of today, Liverpool with VVD and Pep's Abu Dhabi project.

How long can we expect this to drag on for? There's that Diego guy on twitter saying it's a done deal all signed and everything but I need Simon Stone to confirm we are even in this. My phone isn't refreshing quick enough and I've no idea how to use Reddit or Instagram! How can I muppet when I'm incompetent and my phone is :rolleyes:

Raiola's last superstar transfer, Pogba, was announced in early August. I don't think he'll show his hand before he has had everyone raise their stakes over the course of the transfer window.

Methinks a lot of hearts will break when De Ligt officially signs for Barca 2 months later.

Any bets on official confirmation tomorrow considering key match coming up ? Announcement just before legends match possibly ??

I have a very strong feeling that's what will happen also. Ah well, if so... Come on down Harry Maguire :lol:

Wish he wasn’t with the Netherlands for this Nations League because nothing will be announced until after it.

One of the things that worries me about “staggering money” being offered to a 19 year old is he’s got quite a few future contracts. Just how much is he going to expect in the future?!

The plot thickens

De Ligt is on.

A friend of the family signed over a restaurant property location in the centre of town today to a Mr and Mrs De Ligt. It was on the market for long term lease, but they've purchased it outright.

De Ligt's dad owns a restaurant in Amsterdam and one in Copenhagen, and this will be their third. When asked about the their deal, they said their son is a Manchester United player. Presumably contracts are executed already if this is the case.

I've seen pictures of them taking a look around the property, and one line of the sale contract quoting their name. If someone has a picture of de ligt's family for me to confirm identity of the people I saw, I can be 100% sure. Right now I'm like 98% because this guy is too old for bullshit, and doesn't like football.

Anyway, believe me or don't - but what I said is true!

It's ok, he'll go to Barcelona anyway.

It means ‘pay you something’.

Obviously we don’t know in what sense it was meant.

Tbh I doubt anyone has had time since the final whistle to get on the blower to Mino and inform this guy about it loll. He’s probably saying in the sense that’s what should happen.
