I love how we're signing players from different European nations, it actually makes cheering for teams during the International break easier and possibly cheering for a World Cup winner someday, and i love the Azzuri.

Also love the influx of good looking players and fan favourites .

That's the only reason why Madrid refuse to sell Ramos, they fear that we outbeauty them.

Is he a better option than what Clyne would have been? Genuine question btw, I know nothing of this lad.
I have only seen bits and pieces of Darmian but I wanted him over Clyne. I saw Clyne struggle dfensively a few times. Darmian is very quick and good going forward.

Is this guy actually any good? Seems to have had a generally unremarkable career to date.

Can he stay fit?

Italy international and one of the best players for Torino, why is that unremarkable career but someone like Schneiderlin who's had a very similar path so far is rated very highly?

Doesn't matter what any players fitness record is before signing for United. They all become a crock when they pen that deal. :(

So was anybody else in for this lad?

If not, why not?
its strange isnt it?

Reading his wiki page he was awarded best player for the Italian national side for 2014, you would think one of the bigger italian sides would have snapped him up

If this signing goes through it would be one of the first times in recent history where we actually signed someone we so obviously need.

Schneiderlin would be another example of a player which makes too much sense to actually materialise.

Meaning: Woody reads redcafe

Did I mention the guy has great hair.

We needed a creative player last summer, unless you're talking about position, then yes.

At lot of Milan and Juve fans seem really surprised that they aren't in for him, which is a good sign. I suppose a right back isn't one of their main priorities or they would be.

We needed a CB and RB far more. We also needed a replacement for Carrick more than a creative player in MF. But there is a chance that Blind was originally signed for this purpose. I get the feeling that Blind was most likely a plan B or C due to the transfer taking place so late.

Still prefer Coleman but at least this lads a proper full back
Coleman would be twice the price and is of about the same age. Darmian is good value for money and should be a good signing, saw some videos of him and he looks potentially very good.

We seemed to give up on Coleman very quickly, Everton must have told us no chance, or quoted £25 million +

Hope we fleece them if they want Evans, and tell them to do one if they try and get Januzaj on loan.

Looks like he can use his left foot and his crosses aren't just smashed into the defender's shins. I approve.

I'd ship out Valencia and have Rafael and Darmain as the two rb's.

Would be logical really wouldn't it, but it won't happen, we'll sell Rafael to Southampton or similar for £3 m, and he'll be the best RB
in league next season.

That defending is abysmal. They just stand around like lemons.

He is at full speed in the box, if one of them has the stupidity to do anything else than pray, it's a pen and a red.

This is a done deal. The English journos have been briefed.
