In Cardiff tonight. Staying at the Vale Resort along with Ole, Eikrem, Hartis, Dempsey and John Vik (New Chief Scout)

it took Ole 3-4 days to get 2 players - Moyes apparently can't sign anyone else than Fellaini :)

I don't know if this is the right time for Dæhli to make such a big move. I think he would benefit of a full season in Norway before taking the next step. But then again, it's Solskjær, so it might not be that big a gamble. Or I might be completely wrong. Anyway, I'm sad to see him leave Molde. Hopefully Ole won't be bringing more players from Molde now.

Excited to see him playing in the PL. Enjoyed watching him in the U18s.

I think we can all agree that it's a huge gamble by Solskjær. 2 inexperienced lads - and Norwegians which will work against Ole if it goes wrong. Long term it will probably by good deals for Cardiff - but there is nothing to indicate that they will help Cardiff survive short-term

Why did we actually let him go?

I heard homesickness but obviously not that yet. It seems like he just left for first team football. I mean if an 18 year old who is playing in the youth team/reserves and asked to go back to his homeland would you stop him? I'm not too surprised to be fair.

Well of course he spent the first day 'getting to know his players'. After that, he was ready.

Isnt he more of an AM/winger than a centre midfielder? Thats what I remember from his time in our reserves.

Yeah that's how I believe him to be. For example he's not going to play in a midfield 2 I don't believe. No idea how he's developed since leaving us mind and I could be totally off.

Yeah, thats why am finding talks of a midfield of him and eikrem weird. Both are light weights as well or were atleast.

Without ever actually watching him live I always got the idea he was like januzaj position wise, and ability wise really. Was a bit strange when we sold him considering all I was hearing was good things, and him not being able to settle probably wasn't true considering he's back half a year later in the prem.

Yeah, and I considered him an equal to janu. talentwise as well. Probably had something to do with Sir Alex retiring and him trusting OGS more than moyes.

Yeah, he's a similar type of player position wise without being the same type of player. I liked him, but for me he was a level below Januzaj, for example I don't think he'd have come in the team like Adnan and just completely outperform most of the team.

Yeah that's sort of the idea I got from watching his clips and highlights. Also from what I read about him. He's also quite small so I think he'd have a much more difficult time making as big if an impact in the premier league.

When they both get to their mid 20s, their will be very little between the two. Daehli imo will take a little while to truly blossom.

Yeah different kind of player. i think he'll bloom later than Januzaj, that said Januzaj is nowhere near his peak either.
I've seen less of Daehli but I think Adnan is still a step up, technique wise at least. He also has the added athleticism.

Dæhli is much like Adnan position wise. They're both technically brilliant and have a very good football brain. That said, Dæhli was not ready for Premier League football when Januzaj broke into the first team. I still don't think he's ready to be a regular in the Premier League, but I might be surprised. In a year or so I believe he will be a very good first team player for Cardiff.

Looking forward to seeing him play and I hope it works out for for him. Eikrem got some game-time today as a sub.

will be brilliant to see him and Eikrem tested at the highest level to finally know for sure if Fergie was right to offload them or not

Good luck to him, clearly a huge statement of faith in ole that he turns us down to go there. He would have only been in he reserves probably though.
