The coaching staff at United have said that Januzaj was promoted to the first team because of his temperament. When they put him in first team training he showed no fear as he didn't when playing his first game. Technical ability is one thing but you have to have the mental fortitude to show it at the top level. We don't know if Mats has that yet.
I don't know know if Mats joining Molde and Cardiff can be described as 'genius'. I understand why he did but we are far from knowing if it is going to work out for him.
It is a shame that we lost him though. He shows that kind of intelligent passing and movement that is just totally alien to a guy like Ashley Young. Hell, to Antonio Valencia it looks like voodoo.

Yeah, this is a good point. But seeing as it's really hard for us spectators to judge a player's mentality, we have no choice but to focus on what we see on the field. And from what I've seen from Dæhli, I'm more than convinced that he's gonna be a star. Quite possibly bigger than Januzaj. That's how good he's looked for when I've seen him play for Norway and Cardiff.
