Match Compilations

Didn't want to post them before the appeal was reviewed. The final games of the 1984 Euros — semi-final against Portugal and final against Spain. 2 games and 2 assists for Tigana

A rare goal and an assist for the winner in the 1986 Coupe de France final against Marseille. He is just magnificent to watch.

Love the choice of cover picture there harms for the Portugal game - paints a thousand words.

Nothing groundbreaking in terms of performances, but in case you want to take a closer look at those players. I would've paid a lot to see Falcão play in one of Pep's teams.

Something more recent for a change

And also Goncalves vs River Plate in the Libertadores final.

You watch all these old United games and Giggs just stands out for me in most of them.

Yeah, Giggs was probably the best player on the pitch that night too. I can't help but compare James to him when James turns on his acceleration... only to immediately bring me back down to earth with a failed dribble or a blocked cross. Giggs was such a magical talent!

FIFA had blocked my Voronin vs West Germany video.

They've found 2 bits of copyrighted material — a goal and the moment when Seeler, Yashin and Voronin are talking to each other after a collision. I've sent 2 appeals with similar text at the same time... they've lifted the ban from the goal but somehow decided that they can't let me use the chit-chatting moment. #Logic

Isn't that why you guys banned MJJ as well? Ironic

For those who are interested in how Jairzinho played for Botafogo, though obviously there's not a lot of footage.

The dribble and a cross @3.10 and the slow mo build up... Just wasn't expecting that finish at all:lol:

He's a few years past his peak here, but since there's so little footage of him and especially his time at Madrid.

A better performance by Raymond Kopa in the return leg, where he played in a free role.

And also Bessonov vs Barnes - nothing groundbreaking, but if you feel the need to get to know him better.

A God amongst men, really. And that's with Fontaine, Luis Suarez & Kubala on the pitch!

Absolute treat to watch!

Definitely building that Di Stefano inside left and Kubala inside right setup in some draft. Looked like they had some really good chemistry.

@Zlatan 7 , you'll enjoy watching this.

It was more of a classic 5-men attack with Suarez as an inside-left, Kubala as an inside-right and Di Stefano as a striker, but they were more fluid and interchangeable inside that trio that you'd expect from the 50's. There's also a France - Spain encounter from 1959 that I've seen uploaded on YouTube with those 3 & Gento in the Spanish attack and a Fontaine + Kopa partnership in the French one, should be a blast  I'll be definitely watching that one soon.

Great footage harms.

An excellent showcase for how involved Di Stefano was in the game. Sometimes the journalistic styles of those times can seem exaggerated when describing a players versatility and area of influence, but Di Stefanofrom all i've watched holds up very well when put against more modern/current greats that would be described in similar terms. Very good combinations on display too considering the poor state of the pitch.

it'll probably show up on Twitter in a few months as key evidence to show Alfredo was a fraud compared to Ronaldo though. :(
