Master of None

I thought it was a good show, but didn't really get the critically acclaimed nature of it. The love story with the Italian girl in season 2 is pretty formulaic.

The parts of the show I really did enjoy was the elements such as the episode going into the back story of his parents and his Korean (?) friend's dad. The story of thanksgiving at his lesbian friends house. The episode where some of it told from a deaf person's perspective. Those were really well done, and different to what you normally see.

I found his large friend really irritating.

Season 3 was ok but that’s it. There were multiple times where it was just straight up boring.

I get what they were going for and it was very artistic but sometimes I don’t want to watch a scene where someone puts away medicine boxes for 2 minutes.

Best episode was the 4th one. Really liked the relationship between Alicia and Cordelia. Seemed very authentic and wouldn’t be surprised if she was actually a nurse and not an actor. She was very sweet.

Aziz Ansari is a strange case. I find him simultaneously annoying and entertaining at the same time.

I enjoyed the 2nd season very much, but started the 3rd and 15 minutes in I'm wondering if there is any substance? Anyone invested the time?

It’s meh. Says it all I was pretty happy to find out not all the episodes were 50 minutes long.

Haha. Cheers. The slow pace and detailed attention to atmosphere is great if the story is absorbing, but I wasn't getting that.
