So tell me, what do you expect from him with this panel of players without improvement. We need a midfielder and a forward in January, and that's just to start. No manager coming in can expect to do any better with this panel and the injuries we have had.Wrong. If Ole proves he's good enough he'll get to buy. If he proves to be inept the new manager will do that. It's why we didn't give Moyes 300 million to spend. Did you want that to happen so that he could fulfill the rebuild and the vision?
This is pointless. You clearly think he's managing the team and getting the best out of what he has whereas I don't.So tell me, what do you expect from him with this panel of players without improvement. We will improve when Martial and Shaw, AWB, comes back in, but Gawd, we need reinforcements to midfield and attack.
No, United didn't score a shitload of goals with Mou.
Review the 17-18 season.
The 5th attack in the league?
The chap at Ajax Ten Haag wasn't rated higly at all last season by many Ajax fans. Most fans I've spoken to consider Peter Bosz to be the best Coach from Holland currently. @Kostov
Several 4-0 that season.
It was actually on this forum that many Dutch fans didn't believe he was good enough to manage Man Utd after Mourinho got sacked. Maybe @Ajaxsuarez can shed some light on the matter. You talked to the wrong people. I think most Ajax supporters love him. He's a bit strange, talks funny and that's why he gets a lot of stick. Tactically he is really really good. And he doesn't give a crap what people are saying or writing about him or his choices. He trains hard and is micromanaging a lot. Players have to get used to his methods, but they all understand when results are getting better and better. Everyone who played for him says he's the best manager they had.
Yeah, there are obviously a few variables to consider and it is a bit more complex - the situation we find ourselves in. But it does seem like OGS is being given a lot more leeway, which wasn’t necessarily afforded to any of his predecessors.Agreed. It's only the former cult hero status that affords him any leeway.
The stats look horrendous. 2 wins in about 15 or something mad? That even bottom of the league wouldn't be acceptable for?
But that's not a shitload of goals under Mourinho, it's a normal amount that led to the 5th and 8th attacks in the league.

Out of curiosity is it just because of his inexperience right now or have you seen something in his Rangers side you don't like?Absolutely not.
You just know it would never happen don't you? We hardly ever do the reasonable thing and if Ole is sacked I bet we go straight to Allegri or eve worse someone like Zidane.Rose is actually spoken of very highly within Germany and Austria. His style of coaching is very similar to the style Klopp has enjoyed great success with at Dortmund and Liverpool. Rose alongside his #2 Rene Maric have in tandem formed a great partnership which has seen them implement a fast paced, dynamic, high octane style that Klopp is revered for. The duo are now at Gladbach in Germany so it'll be interesting to see how they do come the end of the season.
But what is interesting, is that Rose was reported to be on a 5 man shortlist to replace Mourinho. So if true, it seems someone at the club is keeping a close eye on his potential rise and progress.
That is very uninspiring to be fair, Bosz looked out of his depth at Dortmund from what I can remember. The chap at Ajax Ten Haag wasn't rated higly at all last season by many Ajax fans. Most fans I've spoken to consider Peter Bosz to be the best Coach from Holland currently. @Kostov
What’s his style of play?
Poor man’s Simeone.Like a rich mans Moyes.
Inexperience and also because I don't think it would end well, but that being said if he did get a good amount of successful experience under his belt I'd probably be able to get behind it.Out of curiosity is it just because of his inexperience right now or have you seen something in his Rangers side you don't like?
Allgeri at the game last night?

You're welcome to him.
Nowhere near, was sacked three times, had a poor decade by top of all time standards, not even top 10.I was one of those 20 percent of people who wasn't for sacking Mourhino because I consider him the greatest defensive manager of all time and probably a good shout for a top 5 manager of all time. Wheter the CAF agrees with me is not the point. The point is that Allegri would be a step down (comparing him to Jose) and the brand of football would not be what we all consider Manchester United.

Didn't he fail spectacularly with Dortmund? The chap at Ajax Ten Haag wasn't rated higly at all last season by many Ajax fans. Most fans I've spoken to consider Peter Bosz to be the best Coach from Holland currently. @Kostov
Like I said. If you agree or not is not the point. He is better than Allegri and they both value the same brand of football.
A Scot, a dutch, a portugese, a norwegian and possibly an italian now. Are we on a quest to have a Manager from every country in Europe?
Is Allegri that much of a defensive manager? I've seen Juventus play mostly in the CL and they always played decent stuff. There passing was good and they didn't resort to parking the bus and hoofing it up field. Also Juventus don't exactly bore their way to the title every season, they score good amount of goals and there is a lot of emphasis on defence in Italy and they always seem to break open Serie A teams that mostly would park the bus against Juve.
They should know more for sure but they are so used to winning the league, then their expectations are going to be far higher, we all know CL is extremely difficult to win despite having a stellar squad and a guaranteed league title(PSG and City).I'm similar to you mate, not to sure about his style of play and they always look attractive to me but seen loads of things from Juve fans who said they wanted him gone, love a target man and getting the ball lumped forward, they think Sarri is a huge upgrade to attacking football, which seems a bit mental.
Not seen enough of them to pass to much judgement but going on what a lot of Juve fans have said on Twitter etc. they were happy to get rid, find it a bit strange but they know more than I do haha

My point is that their expectations are far higher and right now us being beggars we can't really be choosers. I'd be extremely happy with a manager who can make us pass well, execute some tactics, make us play some competent football.
