Fallen Muppet. Lest we never forget
More likely he takes Eriksens spot IMOHe will be a rotation for Bruno Eriksen. They will play 2 out of the three to stop burnout. Bruno cant keep playing every game.

Possibly so but I think from a defensive perspective Gini and Henderson are vastly better than Mount and Bruno. I know there's not a carbon copy template and this could work in some scenario but I'm not convinced the balance is right. If we're going for a more defensive/hard working midfield I think Caicedo or Rice would make us a lot more robust in midfield.Ten Hag obviously doesn’t want tempo setters, he seems to want pressing and hard working machines in midfield.
To me it’s obvious we should be looking more towards prime Liverpool as to how Ten Hag wants us to play than any sort of City knockoff.
And increases Chelsea’s.I’m more disappointed at the fact that signing Mount kills our chance of getting Caicedo.
Am I a scout for the club? No, this clubs inability to find suitable alternatives is why our squad is a disjointed mess and Mount is just going to add to our midfield players who crumble under any sort of pressure when we come up against more technical sides.Yeah? Tell me who that player is apart from Frenkie de Jong.
Get that but he has not been great this season, is 29, a bit injury prone and price is apparently £40m. If it’s to replace Gundogan then I’d say it’s a downgrade but they have to act as Kalvin Phillips is a dud.Annoying that City are after Kovacic. I think he’s the one Chelsea midfielder I would want!
Do ya still need the homegrown quota in Europe?? Better having him than mctominay
I really wanted him, he is going to be top but I could see us missing out on this calibre of playerFunding them to buy caicedo. Make it make sense.
Yeah, and most talking we paid too much for him (17M?) if I remember correctly.I’m sure Diarra went to Madrid that summer and this was the underwhelmed alternative to us muppets.
Get one of those two in and I'm okay with it too but not sure we do that unless we go for a cheap striker option.Yeah, Rice or Caicedo and we have a serious group of midfielders.

Player of the year the year they won the CL. He was excellent.
Love the CafWhat a terrible signing.
Don't the majority of Chelsea fans complain that he's too slow, or at least not quick enough for any pace not to be counteracted by his (relative) lack of strength. It's not quite a Mata situation, I guess, but then again Mata looked a much more creative passer. Mount just seems so midrange at best

Closest thing to a Kante regen. Caicedo will be world class, if he isn’t already.I really wanted him, he is going to be top but I could see us missing out on this calibre of player
Hopefully less than £40m alsoLess than 60
40-50 + add ons would be fine.Hopefully less than £40m also
Not seen a breakdown of these stats but would be interested to know how many come from set pieces
I’d rather see us go all in and fix the midfield and GK positions this summer. Patch up the forward position and RB with some unknowns and then sign Kane and a world class CB/RB next summerClosest thing to a Kante regen. Caicedo will be world class, if he isn’t already.
Behind the striker in my opinion. It would allow rotation and for Bruno to drop back into a 8 position also if needed .What’s his better position of the two?
Up to £60m? Really? Depressing way to start our summer business with a player who has massively underwhelmed this season.
£80m gets you caicedo, there’s Kone and Thurman on the market too. Anything over £40m and we’re having our pants pulled down.
There’s no guarantee anyone will improve us, look at Sancho, Maguire, Pogba, Schweinstiger etcWhile Kone is an exciting prospect, what has he ever done in his career and what guarantees do we have that he will improve us?
I would suspect he’s a shiny new name prospect and that he’s not english. While Kone is an exciting prospect, what has he ever done in his career and what guarantees do we have that he will improve us?
