Well we'll see his cost, if its 50m for a position that isn't important it'll be ridiculous.

In all fairness I think it's a cog in the machine type of signing.
He's better on defending than Eriksen, a player that 90% of the time is a starter when fit. And probably in some games, EtH would withdraw Bruno to 8, and has Mount as 10. That's what I envisage if we were signing Maddison.
That 21/22 stats of 29 GA is a mouthwatering number for a young player in PL.

Case, Eriksen and Bruno hasn't exactly been awful, so why would adding Mount - who is actually pretty quick and excellent work rate - be any worse?

Yeah, I think the two attacking 8's is nice on paper but as a collective we have to be very very good for it to work well. I don't think a midfield trio of Casemiro, Mount and Bruno is quite the right balance. A huge amount of defensive responsibility on Casemiro and I don't think any of them are capable of being a consistent tempo setter, particularly against the top sides.
If we can somehow manage to get his best mate, Declan Rice, as well then this might end up being very shrewd.

Don’t think this brings us any closer to having a stronger grip in midfield in bigger games at all, but if Haggy is this hard for him he must have some sort of plan

Bruno plays every game because we have no one to slot in there and Eriksen I feel won’t have as much an influence as this season. He’s needed .

Like I said, it would be very easy to get an upgrade on David De Gea. Surprised by this choice though.
1 year left on his contract and it appears Chelsea don't want to give him the contract he wants. I think there's probably also the case of Mount not feeling appreciated and would fancy his chances elsewhere. At Chelsea and maybe under Poch, he doesn't really have a defined position.

I am not saying that he is not a good player but what exactly he will solve? We need desperately playmaking central midfielder. No6/no8 combo. Not attacking midfielder.

Ten Hag obviously doesn’t want tempo setters, he seems to want pressing and hard working machines in midfield.
To me it’s obvious we should be looking more towards prime Liverpool as to how Ten Hag wants us to play than any sort of City knockoff.

Don't the majority of Chelsea fans complain that he's too slow, or at least not quick enough for any pace not to be counteracted by his (relative) lack of strength. It's not quite a Mata situation, I guess, but then again Mata looked a much more creative passer. Mount just seems so midrange at best
I wasn't particularly enthusiastic about us signing Mount, but it's clear the manager wants him and has vision for how he'll fit in his team. Easy to get behind the decision and when it works out we have the added bonus of stealing him away from the scousers. 
If we continue with the same broad positional principles as this season, then I would have to disagree because he needs to play as the build up 8 in a 2 man midfield, which I could be wrong but I don’t think he has really played in, let alone as the creative maestro. It would be an awfully big gamble for one of the 3 key positions that we need filling. We saw that with Pogba’s inability to play deeper in a 2. Granted outside of the man who’s already rejected us, there isn’t a real clean fit, but there are alternatives who would certainly present less risk than Mount, with higher upside.
otherwise, we would need to sign the aforementioned 2 so we can use the backline to progress the play, withCase and mount keeping things ticking over rather than dictating the game themselves.
From what I've seen, he may not be absolutely rapid but he has great acceleration which is more important than pure pace, in my opinion.
He's probably going to replace Eriksen as well, and he is incredibly slow so at least an improvement in that aspect.
Think he will surprise a few people, and will end up a good signing for us. Bit worried about how much we pay for him though, there are some really important positions we need to cover this summer.
Key thing for me is that he seems to be the number one target of ETH and we're getting it done swiftly (seemingly)

I’m ok with signing Mount if it means we go all in for Rice too then offload McTominay and VDB which would leave us with the best group of midfielders we’d have had in years.
Yeah, Rice or Caicedo and we have a serious group of midfielders.
He will be a rotation for Bruno Eriksen. They will play 2 out of the three to stop burnout. Bruno cant keep playing every game.
I’m more disappointed at the fact that signing Mount kills our chance of getting Caicedo.
