Not really seeing or feeling it with him or with the links to us. Sounds like paper talk to me or the media just trying to make a story out of nowt.
It’ll all make sense when he signs him new Chelsea contract. Not really seeing or feeling it with him or with the links to us. Sounds like paper talk to me or the media just trying to make a story out of nowt.
Literally every reliable journalist has said this is likely to happen. The likes of Ornstein don't just talk for the sake of it, It's not just "paper talk" it's more surprising at this point if it doesn't happen, if Chelsea really dig their heels in, so you need to get used to the idea that Mount is going to play for usNot really seeing or feeling it with him or with the links to us. To play diamond, you need two of the CM to be very high energy and stamina that can run all day because they will cover lot of ground on the width due to no wingers like Seedorf and Gattutso. We are fecked if you play Eriksen in there. Mount should play in Eriksen‘s position, Bruno should play in Mount’s position. While may be Casemiro should play in Eriksen role like Gattutso. And finally May be Eriksen to play in Casemiro role like Pirlo.Costa
Frimpong-Kim- Martinez-Shaw
Casemiro
Eriksen-Bruno
Mount
Kane-Rashford
Return of the diamond & the unamed, Rice covers or plays alongside Casemiro.Single sub of mount for winger changes to 433 & vice versa.
If he ends up keeping De Gea on long Contract as No 1 then I would have serious doubt about his players assessment .To be fair Ten Hag is a better judge of player than Keane is
Bit daft, can’t see us signing more than 3 top playersIf he ends up keeping De Gea on long Contract as No 1 then I would have serious doubt about his players assessment .

Read again even I have made my peace with the fact De Gea might still be starting games for Us next season , but I still don't want us to tie him down to long contract and continue to neglect that position beyond next season so if that happens then off course I would Judge Ten Hag and Murtough harshly .Bit daft, can’t see us signing more than 3 top players
All needed in outfield places
And then look at gk, I can see him being our number 1 next year
I am not saying that he needs to prioritise GK over CF and Midfielders this Summer but it shouldn't be ignored beyond next season .GK is not priority. We need to spend money for top CF and midfielders.
Ye I’m with you on this. Obviously a ST and midfield is more important but we need to sort the keeper issue out. Keeping DDG in goal next season could end up costing us more points with his silly mistakes.I am not saying that he needs to prioritise GK over CF and Midfielders this Summer but it shouldn't be ignored beyond next season .
GK should be a huge priorityGK is not priority. We need to spend money for top CF and midfielders.
If Chelsea need to sell then Reece James sjould be on the menu as well.
James' contract doesn't run out in a year (Mounts does) so there's zero chance of him going.
Is he really leaving or is this all to get a new contract ?

Do we think this is a moneyball type signing in that he’s bringing things which might not be apparent?
Reeks of the Antony pursuit, pay top dollar for a player who is just about above average and neglect a key part of the eleven that later hurts you down the line whilst the said player does little to justify the huge investment. Thought we had learnt our lessons about a manager driven transfer strategy, guess we will have to relearn it.I’m disappointed that Mount is considered one of our priorities. Good player but he won’t be cheap and there are better alternatives out there.
He’s not even going to be a player we getStop bloody moaning guys. Goodness me. He’s not going to be the only player we get.
You sure about that? He’s not even going to be a player we get
Definitely new contract - thankfully
I don’t mind the Antony signing to be honest. I think he’s class and he’s definitely given us a great option down the right. He’ll justify the outlay next season, I’m sure of it.Reeks of the Antony pursuit, pay top dollar for a player who is just about above average and neglect a key part of the eleven that later hurts you down the line whilst the said player does little to justify the huge investment. I am thinking, our main man in midfield would always be Casemiro and Bruno. Casemiro would be the ball winner and the one who would lead/drive the midfield and boss the whole area, Bruno would be the one making things happened with killer pass, the source of creativity. We need some to compliment them - someone to link up midfield, involved a lot in build up play, pass the ball around to circulate possession, and someone box to box who could help out both the defence and attack too.I don’t mind the Antony signing to be honest. Mount is a good player to complement the squad but not a signing that will transform a squad in the same way, say, Casemiro was for us.

I mean effectively yes, but Mount is that for most teams. He's an unspectacular but very technically sound midfielder who has a knack for goals and is known for being very good for pressing and defensive contributions. I think he could balance out Bruno's chaos really well.Do we think this is a moneyball type signing in that he’s bringing things which might not be apparent?
He's definitely a versatile player - I'd say he can probably play the Bruno and Eriksen roles well. Is he good enough to displace either? Question being, is Mount the player to fill that role? Or is he just there as backup/rotation to Bruno/Eriksen?
That’s worse than our current team.Costa

Its because he's an unflashy english player.I mean effectively yes, but Mount is that for most teams. I can't believe how many people are against this move given how much Ten Hag clearly wants him.
