Film Martin Scorsese - Marvel movies are 'not cinema'

Mandalorian and Last of Us: protecting children- and in the Fantastic 4, Sue who Reed later married, was still a child when they meet.
Was sue a child when they met? How old would Johnny storm be then?

Dakota Johnson says "it’s really f*cking bleak in this industry. It is majorly disheartening." “The people who run streaming platforms don’t trust creative people or artists to know what’s going to work, and that is just going to make us implode. It’s really heartbreaking. It’s just f*cking so hard. It’s so hard to get anything made." "Everyone who makes decisions is afraid. They want to do the safe thing, and the safe thing is really boring."

Seems a bit ironic coming from the main female lead in the Fifty Shades movies. Bleak indeed.
That's not irony and you should check out her whole filmo. No actor has a 100% hit rate but her work holds up pretty decently overall - though I'm biased as I love A bigger splash and Suspiria.

She's not wrong

She should be thanking her lucky stars that her parents were rich and famous and allowed her to pursue acting — and then she should thank them again that she’s even been in any movies. She isn’t a very good actor and she is average looking. She can’t get her projects made because she is not a draw. Actors drive me fecking crazy with the entitlement they have, as if they are owed the ability to play pretend for the rest of their lives. Having her attached to a movie won’t get it greenlit, and that’s the same for a lot of nepo babies.

Don Johnson’s her father iirc, yeah?

Edit: also forgot Melanie Griffiths is her mom.

Average looking?

she's your typical pretty Hollywood face that will appear in your typical stupid Hollywood movie for the rest of her career - meaning, she's part of the problem, if there is a problem anyway. I get why M. Streep could think that modern cinema is bad, but it sounds so funny coming from actor like DJ. what's next, Tom Holland bashing mindless blockbusters?

Yeah this post is a cnut. Why must you bring her looks into it? How she looks has absolutely 0 correlation on her acting and it's something you'd only bring up with women and never men.

If you think she's "bang average" sound you're entitled to opinion but there's a time and place to share such opinions and this wasnt it.

Are you okay?

Maybe it's set in 1960?
I think you may be right...

That logo though...

Reminds me of Spider-Man Homecoming logo.

Amazing Spider-Man was gritty and pretty serious, whereas Spider-Man Homecoming was quirky and funny.

Maybe this new Fantastic Four movie will be something similar.

The logo looks very weird to me and that art looks even weirder. Taken straight from the 60s comic books.

They're still stuck on the multiverse so its probably a pocket universe from the 60's that gets dragged into the mainline universe. Hopefully it gives them an excuse to make a film with a unique tone and style, instead of the same generic goo they've served the last 50 times.

Any chance Thanos is still alive in one of those universes and he comes back and he does the job properly and kills every last one of MCU and sends every other universe into a colossal black hole?

She’s not wrong, but doesn’t help her case by taking part in movies like Madame Web. That fecking film makes the fifty shades stuff look like a masterpiece.
Is she really saying the industry needs to spend more money on movies like this piece of shit with her in starring roles? Astounding.

My only wish for this F4 film is they strongly reference the genius of Jack Kirby. But if they can't even do that then feck'em.
