Football is a business as well
You do not destroy your assets, they have to try and make some money from Martial and not give him away for free
We really don't know the real story with Martial
lets hear what the manager says in his press conference Tomorrow
Where are the buyers?
If I service a robin reliant every year I'm just wasting my money. Nobody is going to buy it.
I don't see how Ralf's comment depreciates Martial as an asset. Its been obvious for ages he's not part of the plans for the club. His agent has broadcast to the world that he wants out. Yet nobody has come in with a bid Man Utd is willing to accept. Ralf talking him up or talking him down won't fundamentally change that situation.
We should have just let him go to Sevilla on a subsidised wage. Clubs like Sevilla cannot afford to pay him what we pay him. There is very little sense in letting Martial languish around Carrington the way we let the likes of Rojo, Darmian etc. However, given that's what we've done in the past I wouldn't be surprised.
At some point the people that run this club are going to learn to have to cut their losses.
