This feels like a random bid you do on football manager after some bloke in the Belgian league scores 2 goals against you.

Then when they accept the bid you check his stats and withdraw ASAP....
 
I presumed this story would be dead in the water by now. Surely there would be a massive backlash if this happened.

So again - he scored 14 goals in Serie A last year and 10 goals in 29 PL games for a shit West Ham in his last PL season. This idea Arnautovic is useless is just bollocks - he isn’t. He’s a monumental bellend - but he’s not a shit footballer.

As footballer he is actually decent, but goals doesn't excuse racism so whatever footballing reason there might be the other bit is always there too

He's not useless, but he's hardly the profile of player you'd think we'd look at
 
Woke up to the Rabiot and Arnautovic transfer links after getting battered by Brighton at home. For a better choice of words, a pair of pricks that I don’t want near the club.

Just watched a documentary today called 'downfall' about how Boeing went to s h..i te once new owners came in who only cared about profit and not the product and Manchester United under the Glazers reminds me of it.

United went to a downward spiral when Glazers took charge, SAF was just delaying the inevitable demise. It is more of a commercial club than a football club nowadays. Dark times ahead for United under the Glazers and I cannot see us rose from our ruins for many more years to come.

Genuinely feels like a signing a team in the bottom three would make. Embarrassing really and if this is Ten Hag's choice then it would be a big red flag.

Completely depends on context. As a short-term 3rd choice bench option who offers something different and allows us funds to sign a RW then I’d have no issue minus him being a monumental bellend.

Its not a red flag, it should be his job to come up with targets. We should have attainable targets and the manager should be in agreement if we are to go for them. Its not that hard.
 
City win the league and they enhance their team with Erling Haaland.

Meanwhile we are coming down from our worst ever PL season and need to improve the squad so we run after Marko fecking Arnautovic.

Unless ETH has something in his contract that he has the last word on transfers? I'm so confused. United are all about image and then they do this? Doesn't make sense. IF ETH is really pushing this, then I unfortunately will have to start side eyeing him. Can't believe he thinks getting this problematic guy is going to help him. It will just invite more scrutiny that he does not need. I am so baffled.

Here I was thinking the hype over G Jesus was over the top. And we go on to try to sign Arnautovic. My word.
 
We’ve been a circus act for 10 years but in the past 24 hours I don’t think we’ve ever been mocked this badly. Even the journalists close to the club are absolutely ripping into us.

Such a sad sight to see this club in this situation.

Tbh I am more for bringing this lad than Rabiot, much more. Age doesn't matter, he is good technically, great hold up on ball, doesn't rely on speed.
