Mario Balotelli

INTER, Balotelli's agent speaks out

Interviewed by Radio Radio, Mino Raiola, agent of Inter striker Mario Balotelli has declared: "We have decided that we won't be part any more of the Italian Association of Football players. If this could mean that he will move abroad? We don't know, it depends from Inter. But I can't deny that we have received important offers: Manchester United (€ 35 million according to La Gazzetta dello Sport) and also Manchester City. A future in Spain impossible? Who said that?".

So is he going to play for Ghana now aswell? Italy will never pick him if he moves to England.

I can believe this rumour, we wanted Benzema last summer and fergie says he wanted villa this summer so it looks increasingly likely that we're after another striker.

I kinda believe it but at the same time there are so many angles to it. What I don't like, is his agents big mouth.

He was the Nedved agent, at present he has Balotelli, Ibrahimovic and many others

He decided to move Ibrahimovic from Inter to Barça, he is a big friend of luciano moggi...

He was born in italy but he lived his whole life in Holland where his father had a pizzeria

have we officially stated yet that we are interested in him?
also is the news that united officials met his agent in a restaurant in Italy confirmed?

United don't officially announce interest in players. We are not Madrid or Barcelona.

So is he going to play for Ghana now aswell? Italy will never pick him if he moves to England.

Italy will pick him up. They see him as one of the main creativity sparks needed to give some dignity back to the italian side.

If that was all that mattered then Cassano would be starting.

Both Cassano and Balotelli are amongst the favorites to start in the Italian national side.

even i am inclined to agree with your point.
but, in cases like that of berba, ronaldinho and rio. when there were multiple bids being made or negotiated, din't we ever come out and say that we are trying blah blah, before the saga actually got over?

Because since he was a young 18 year old at the World Cup scoring that goal against Argentina, he has always been an out and out striker. Michael Owen is a finisher, nothing more, nothing less.

He does not have the luxury or dropping into central midfield, to compensate for his lack of pace. He is a striker, that is all he will ever be. He has lost a fair bit of his pace, but he is still quick enough to get in ahead of many defenders, provided he is fit, to still be a factor at this level.

But I cannot foresee Michael Owen wowing anyone at the age of 35-36, other than his kids in the backyard.
You may be right. However, its generally the players with a footballing brain that play on well into their 30's. Owen's football brain is as good as anyones.

Owen is hardly Bergkamp or even Sheringham. Balotelli just doesn't feel like the kind of player you would buy.

We have done in the past - Berbatov, Hargreaves?

Where did we officially declare an interest in Berbatov?

It was well known, obviously, but even after we had made bids (confirmed and rejected by Spurs) Fergie would still only say we had bid for a player, not that we had bid for Berbatov. there was a story claiming this from a Norwegian fansite or similar, but it was later admitted that Fergie had not actually named Berbatov, it was just assumed that is who he was talking about and subbed into the story.

You are prob right on Hargreaves though.

Google Translate:
Federico Macheda, former Lazio and now at Manchester United and a close friend of Mario Balotelli, through sms began his work of persuasion against SuperMario that the number 45 because of the Nerazzurri choose the Red Devils. Massimo Moratti is known that it would divest only indispensable in case of supply and Mario did not give assurances about his future at Inter, indeed, everything portends a leak, less than blatant reassurances by Benitez. Today it should be a meeting between Marco Branca and the agent Mino Raiola should explain the situation to the Inter dt. In fact, after his meeting Monday with envoys of the Amsterdam club red of Manchester, the Red Devils are still the figure of 30 million, believe it is ideal to bring Mario in England, on the other hand Mancini expectations and dreams to wear the jersey of City Mario precisely against the Nerazzurri, July 31 in a friendly in Baltimore.

if it's what i think it is i called it .

what did you call.

It seems to be saying Kiko and Baloteli are friends and Kiko has been texting Baloteli telling him to join United.

Don't delete it! What did you call?

you people will never know the truth!!! :) No but if we are interested I reckon they'll ask for Kiko. Sadly my italian isn't so hot :D but using kiko to convince Mario maybe happening - but what'd be in it for kiko? Another striker to be behind..somethings a foot. Just a feeling

devilfish on alert

Federico Macheda who is Balotelli's close friend had already started his quest to convince the Inter player to sign with United. Its renowned that Moratti will not sell him unless he is offered a good sum of money for the player and Balotelli has yet to commit himself with Inter, which hints that he is orchestrating a move away from San Siro. Everything may change if Benitez assure the player that he will be a central figure in his plans

Today Rioula and Branca will meet to discuss what is going on. Rioula had already met United's emmisaries on Monday at Amsterdam who believe that a fee of around 30m should be enough to get the player at OT. On the other hand Mancini is still interested in the player and would love to sign him up before 31 August.

Dalla Spagna, il Manchester United vuole Ibrahimovic (11:00 del 14 luglio) | Mercato | Calciomercato.com

United are interested in Ibrahimovic. This news where given directly by Barcelona to a newspaper close to the club (sport). Ibra is not in Guardiola's plan and is willing to sell him for 35m euros. Milan wants him on loan with the right to buy him back at the end of the season. United is willing to get him now. Stating that Ibra remains the plan B if the Balotelli's deal doesn't occur.

Please no :nervous:
