Marcus Rojo - Finally found a taker?

Don't get too excited boys, knowing us, United will reject it.

Just get rid of him, any price would make it. I hope Woodward don’t feck it up like with Darmian.

Told you before. That performances in pre-season is to get buyers.

This would be mean that we've recouped almost 95m from Lukaku and Rojo transfers and spent 147m in total bringing out net spent to 52m.... With all that money left, we should have added two more signings.
52m (last year too) = 104m in 2 years. We should have spare cash to even buy M'bappe :D

Preparing for the big Sancho deal next summer after United becoming champion and qualify for UCL, of course! :D:devil:

Sancho won't come here next summer. This will go down the same path of us signing Griezmann. Real are gonna struggle this season and this will spark another spending next summer and Sancho will be a hot commodity then... Also, Chelsea will look to spend after missing out due to the ban, and him being from London will prove to be an attractive proposition for him. Just saying that the odds are stacked against us and we should not dream of getting players and instead spend right now on that are available.

You snooze, you lose.... We lost out on Ndombele and Pepe this summer.

Surely 25m is a piss take?

Honestly, much like Jones and Bailly there biggest strengths is that they are injured so often that they barely have to play. They are that bad. I wouldn't even think we could get 25m for the trio plus Darmian.

Loan, whatever. Don’t want him but we need cover.

Transfer, I’d be annoyed.

Would rather it was Jones to balance the centre back lineup. Jones, Smalling, Bailly and Tuanzebe all usually play on the right of Lindelof.

Strange to get rid of the left footed CB first before Jones, Smalling or Bailly. Regardless of how good you think Rojo is.
Selling Smalling ahead of Rojo would be bloody stupid.

Doubt Everton are looking for crocks, else I'd agree on balancing the CB lineup: Rojo, Jones and Bailly for 25M.

Only 45 minutes to go and still no announcement :nervous:

Just have him on loan. We can’t have so many players in the squad + he’ll play more and hopefully be worth something when we sell him the following season.

If we can’t sell him to a European club there no point in not letting him go on loan. So in Utd logic of course he is going to stay.

Would rather we sell overseas anyway. I think he'd be really good for Everton and help them move up a couple places.

Who the heck is Marcus Rojo? No wonder this transfer is in trouble. Wrong dude!

Correct the typo in the title and this might go through.

Everton were in for Rojo last deadline day and has the sense not to go through with it in the end. Wouldnt be shocked to see it happen again

Just get rid of all this dead wood. The club can’t move forward whilst they’re all here.

We are having trouble moving them on, that is the problem. The clubs able to afford them don't want them, and the ones who would want him won't be able to afford him.

Not true we price them out its happened with Darmian who could have left 2 summers ago. Rojo's contract was about to end we extended. Now we are going to price him out of a move too. Some clubs are to take them but we just won't get rid

He's so, so shite.

Not that you'll see too much of him on the pitch though.

What is the medical team like at Everton?

I know he’s shite. I just also know we are lacking cover now Zouma and jagielka have gone.

This deadline day has been weird by us. Hope we have something up our sleeve.

Eh, seems they want him on loan, they don't want to buy him. But yes, if any offer comes we should just sell them and stop trying to get big money, we won't get that. These guys are just sicknotes who contribute very little to the team.

I mean selling vs loan is def a big difference. A loan just gets his wages off, and considering transfer window is about to close would just mean more money in pocketbook not being reinvested. Plus a loan would help everton get better and be more of a threat. Not worth helping a mid table side be a little bit better over the course of the year to just get the wages off. They want him, they need to buy him and we can get a decent amount to reinvest if we had been smart.
